Police surrounded the entrance of the Pizzaplex, an ambulance hauling a covered body into the back. I looked at the scene from my car, shocked that there were so many onlookers and cops. (S/N) was trying to get a better look from their seat but I quickly told them to stay put.

"What's going on (Y/N)?"

"I don't know (S/N) but don't leave the car. I'll go see what's wrong." I left them in the car, locking the vehicle before moving away from it.

I got closer and closer to the scene only to see some of my fellow staff members getting interrogated by the cops. Bailey was one of the members while Kevin was rubbing her back as she explained her story. The ambulance left with whoever was injured and one of the cops had a megaphone on him.

"All parents return to your cars with your kids and go home. This is a crime scene. Any staff members remaining come forward for questioning."

I walked up to one of the cops but he stopped me from passing the tape.

"Hold on kid, this is a crime scene."

"I'm one of the staff members." He didn't seem to believe me but Kevin came to my defense.

"(Y/N) is one of our fellow kitchen staff, let them in."

The cop apologized before lifting up the tape for me to get through. I ducked under successfully before joining Kevin and Bailey.

"Do you guys know what's going on?"

Bailey shook her head. "They won't disclose any information about what happened. We don't even know who was injured."

I sighed as a cop was walking up to me with a notepad and a recorder. We went away from the crowded area so they could properly interrogate me.

"Name?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)."

"Where were you on the night of the incident?"

"I was working last night. I stayed until 8 pm cleaning up and finishing the stuff I needed to do for the next day."

The cop wrote something in the notepad.

"Did you see anyone during that time?"

"I saw my manager Trevor before I left to pick my sibling up from the daycare. We...talked for a minute before I clocked out. I didn't see him the rest of the time I was there."

The cop nodded and continued to write something in the notepad. Remembering what happened between us for that brief moment sent shivers down my spine.

"Do you know any reason someone would want to harm Trevor?"

His creepy demeanor? I thought. I shook my head before answering.

"Not that I could think of. I've never seen anyone have an argument with him over anything."

After a few more questions, they let me go back to where the present staff members were gathered together by some cops and the CEO. It seemed like they were getting ready to make an announcement to all of us. As soon as I joined my friends, they spoke up.

"Due to the recent events, all staff members have the next week off for the investigation to go undisturbed. Dismissed."

For them to give us the week off meant there was more going on than meets the eye. We dispersed, heading back to our cars. I got in the driver's seat to find a curious (S/N).

"Well, what happened??"

I smiled at them, hiding anything suspicious. "There was just a small accident (S/N). We get the week off though!"

"No Mr. Sun or Chica?"

"Unfortunately kiddo." I started the car and headed back home to unwind from the events. I took a couple of hours to myself while (S/N) watched their show and even took a nap. Meanwhile, I was mindlessly making dinner, replaying what happened last night over and over in my head. A part of me hoped that it was Trevor that got sent to the hospital. It's a horrible thing to hope for but it would be karma at its finest.

Mom came home and we started our nightly dinner schedule. She was worried about me since she had heard about the accident on the radio on her way home. I told her I was fine and that someone just probably got hurt by something in an accident. That seemed to ease her a bit but she was still tense.

"Are you ok Mom?" I looked into her eyes that were pointed down to her plate. She was nervous, almost anxious about something.

"Mom, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing honey. Just with the history of the place, I'm worried about your safety."

I gently placed my hand on hers, giving her a reassuring smile.

"I'll be fine Mom. I'll make sure that (S/N) and I are safe the whole time."

She seemed to drop the conversation after that but was still wary. We finished dinner and I got to clean up the mess while Mom took (S/N) to bed. The whole time I was cleaning, I kept thinking back to the Pizzaplex. If it was Trevor who got hurt, I would be the main suspect since I was the last one who was seen with him.

"I need to stop thinking about this. There's no point in worrying, I know I'm innocent." Sighing, I got ready for bed. When I passed by Mom's door on my way to the bathroom, I saw her holding what looked like an old newspaper clipping, her hands shaking.

I chose to say nothing and went on with my nightly routine. My mind however did don't stop thinking about what information that newspaper had and what my Mom was hiding. I spit out my toothpaste, cleaning up my mouth before leaving and closing the door to my room as I entered. Slipping under the covers of my bed, I grabbed my phone and scrolled online for a bit.

A news alert popped up on my notifications, the headline reading;
Next Generation of Fazbear Entertainment accidents?

Curious about what it meant, I clicked on the notification. During the next hour or two, I regret my decision to look further into the matter. There had been multiple child disappearances and accidents that have happened during Fazbears 50 year existence. But according to the article, there hasn't been any missing kids since the late 90s.

"Why would they be picking up again? Surely the original criminal is dead or too old for this." I sighed and turned off my phone, putting it on the side of my bed.

"I have the week off so maybe I'll be able to dig further into it." I closed my eyes, escaping into the world of dreams.
