Thank you all for supporting my first fanfic and sticking with me despite the absences. Unfortunately, this will be the final chapter. I can't give this fic the love it deserves when I'm no longer interested in it. I will continue to publish fanfics though this is the end of Sunny Days and Starry Nights. Enjoy the finale <3

Ps. I will not be writing a smut scene since writing it about Sun and Moon now makes me uncomfortable.

I went down the colorful slide like how I did before, landing gracefully in the ball pit below. Music was playing like usual in the Daycare, meaning Sun was still hanging around. There were no security bots in the surrounding area which made it perfect for making noise. I emerged from the ball pit with slight anxiety about getting attacked again by Moon. I placed my hands around my mouth in an u shape before calling out.

"Sunny!"

No movements or jingles had caught my attention. Anxiety increased in my stomach as the music in the Daycare changed to a slow piano melody. It took me off guard to be frank. The Daycare should only be equipped with children's music and can only be utilized with an AUX. A whoosh came from behind me, creating a brief gust of wind. I turned around quickly to meet Sunny's eyes in front of my face. I backed up instinctively and fear began to set in.

"Are you...Are you normal right now?" I asked Sunny, unsure if I should run or not.

He didn't respond. Sunny was silent and merely stared at me. He walked up to me, reaching his hand to touch my cheek. When his hand made contact I could feel the coldness of the metal, along with a delicate pressure. He was hesitant to apply more pressure on my cheek with a hand that could effortlessly kill me. Neither of us dared to move and it was painful compared to the mark Moon had given me.

"You came back," Sunny said after the silence became unbearable. "When you didn't come with (S/N) or to work, I thought I scared you off for good."

Hearing my dead sibling's name caused all kinds of emotions to run through me. I couldn't hold back the tears that fell, pushing Sunny to panic and back away.

"I-I didn't mean to make you cry! Oh golly, Oh geez! I should've stayed away. You should stay away. But you're sad...GLITTER! You need glitter!"

Sunny proceeded into a frenzy, attempting to locate something that could cheer me up. It was rather amusing to see him running around like a headless chicken. The action brought a smile to my face instantly. I wiped the tears away before catching up with Sunny. He was at the crafts table aggressively making a card full of glitter and glue with a crayon.

"Sunny it's ok! It wasn't your fault."

He looked slowly over at me, noticing my face didn't have any more tears. Sunny gradually calmed down before taking me into a tight hug. Any hesitation he had about touching me had gone out the window in an instant. My brain was bumbling to comprehend how Sunny had such a wide range of artificial emotions.

'Sunny was made to amuse children, not be a romantic partner for a human.'

I had to do a double take on what my brain came up with. Did I think that way when it came to Sunny? When did I even start feeling like this?

Questions were running through my head a mile a minute. My brain was too scrambled in thought to notice Sunny had picked me up and was now carrying me to the room for both Sun and Moon. It looked almost how I left it, minus the disarray of drawings thrown all over the floor. Pages were full of colorful scribbles while others contained images of messy 'We're Sorry' written many times. I felt horrible about the frenzy the two were sent into because of whatever virus they had. Sunny set me down on some pillows that stood collected in a corner with hanging star lights decorating the surrounding area. Swan Lake played softly in the background of the room, making me feel more at peace with my current situation. I placed my hands in my pockets when I felt the USB drive I had to cure them. I had completely forgotten about it. Sunny was unnaturally quiet as he picked up the drawings and crouched down to place them on my lap.
