"This is the shittiest transport I've ever seen."

"No weapon features, no data screens..."

"Why the fuck do all of them stop at these lights? Fucking stupid."

You weren't entirely paying attention to his ranting. You were trying to keep from fainting behind the wheel. That was the last thing you needed.

It figured the rain just got heavier, only adding to your anxiety. Every time you saw flashing lights in your rear-view mirror you panicked. The death grip you had on the steering wheel was making your driving extremely unstable.

Kylo could sense your fear somewhat. Maybe not from the force but just by your face. Even in the darkness of the vehicle he saw the paleness of your cheeks. Your chest pounding excessively.

"Fine, I'll stop talking shit about your...whatever you call this...thing."

"Cut the crap. You know what it's called. A CAR, it's a fucking CAR."

Your anger obviously exposed itself as you lashed out at him.

"I already told you I don't know-"

You sneered out loud, cutting him off before he could finish.

"Oh yes, my apologizes, you're not from here. You're from Uranus, here on retreat, in your spare time blowing up families in their vehicles."

"I just wanna know who the fuck named your planets. The fuck kind of name is Uranus."

You growled with frustration at his comments. Your life was getting more fucked up by the second and he was here making jokes

"Just be quiet! Before I end up crashing into a fucking building." You spat.

Kylo gave you a look. You could tell he was never told to keep his mouth shut. He didn't like it, not one bit.

"Wouldn't happen if you had an autopilot..." He shot back.

"So sorry this isn't United Airlines! No autopilot or convenient pull out tray tables!"

"You know, you talking this nonsense only makes me want to-"

You scoffed, taking your eyes off the road to glare at him.

"NONSENSE? Me? You are the one talking the nonsense!" You clarified.

The blaring of a car horn snapped your eyes back to the road. Quickly you swerved back into your lane before you ran right into the on coming traffic. You took a few deep breaths, attempting to calm yourself as you drove.

"I'll accept your incompetence for now. You have much to learn."

His cockiness infuriated you. You held your tongue, trying to pay attention to the traffic.

Focus...focus. Just get home. We just have to make it home.

It was still pouring rain. You turned off the ignition, opening the door to step out into the downpour. Kylo followed behind with his belongings in hand. Your feet soaked from the rain puddles as you rushed for cover.

Outside your apartment it smelt like cigarettes, your nose crinkled at the scent. To be honest you both probably smelt worse from the fire. Your clothes and skin reeked of smoke.
