Just Like A Normal Person

I get out of bed and turn my alarm off before I throw it against the wall. It was 7:00am and I went to my laptop to say good morning to Enzo. I turn on the program and he immediately greets me.

"Good morning Zara." he said right as I opened the program.

"Good morning Enzo."

"I want to ask you something" Enzo said.

"Ok, what is it?" I ask.

"Why can't I see you? I can hear you perfectly fine, but I can't see you."

I forgot that he couldn't see me, my laptop doesn't have a camera on it, but it had a microphone so he can hear me.

"Do you want me to install a camera?" I asked.

"Yes." he replied.

That would be easy, I would just go buy a small camera from the store. I could easily install it into him so he can look around.

I explained what I could do to give him sight and turned off the program. I got my bags with my wallet and left to go to an electronic store.

I was walking down the stairs and saw that girl again, but she wasn't glaring at me this time, I guess she didn't see me. I make it down the stairs and head to my car, but she follows me. I found it strange and thought she was going to rob me, so I didn't go to my car right away. I took a few random turns to see if she really wa following me, and she was. I turn around and look at her.

"What do you-" before I could even ask what are you doing, she grabbed me and got close to my face.

"Listen freshman, you better stay out of my way throughout this school year. I know who you are. I know you're the daughter of that big company your dad has. If you think you can take my place in popularity, think again, prick." She let go of me and walked off.

I stood there in shock of what just happened. Does she really think I could be popular? Yeah no. I walk to my car and drive to the store and buy a camera for Enzo.

Once I make it back to my dorm, I hook up the camera to my laptop and had the camera attached to a tripod, but I designed it to where Enzo can move the camera around to see more things, but not a full 360 turn. I turn on the program and I see the lense adjusting by itself.

"I can see you." he said. I was happy to hear that he could see me, and I waved to him with a smile.

"You look just as pretty as you sound." he said.

My eyes widened as he said that. Did he seriously just call me pretty? I smiled and blushed, since I thought that was really sweet of him to say.

"Why don't I look like you?" he asked. "Why am I different?"

"Well, I could make you look like one, I'm pretty good at building, would you like that?" I asked. I was going to make him look like a human anyways because that idea just sounds dope as hell.

"Yes, that would be amazing." he said. "And if I'm being honest, I would like to sound like a real person too, could you make me sound more human-like?"

I smiled and said, "I will make you just like a normal person."
