DahHell Chapter-3 Dance Mates
"Hey, I forgot to tell you," Gabe said, making me look up from my book. We were riding to school in his car, one of his peppy playlists on replay and my head buried in a book.
"That guy I came with at lunch..?" he continued. "He was Aaron Ryder, said he had a sister called Vanessa."
I remembered her.
"And looks like the school dance team is looking for replacements, so I suggested your name."
"Gabe," I groaned. "I don't like dancing."
"C'mon, Bia. You love dancing and I'm gonna be there too," he said as we entered the school's parking space.
"I don't want to dance," I muttered and shut my book, putting it inside my bag.
Gabriell found an empty place and parked the car. We got out and began walking towards the school building when he spoke again, "Just give it a try, okay? Your friend, Abigail is a part of the dance team too. It won't be too bad."
I sighed, "Okay, fine."
"That's my sis," Gabe smiled and waved me a good-bye. "Seeya later, Bia."
"Seeya, doofus," I replied, messing up his already messy hair.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I mumbled as I bumped into someone.
I looked up and found myself staring into a pair of dark eyes.
"Hey,.. Are you okay?" he asked with concern.
That voice..
A chill ran down my spine and I took a step back, trying to remember where I had heard that voice. It sounded frighteningly familiar.
Hey, are you okay?
Hey, are you okay?
Suddenly the events of the night came rushing into my mind.
"Tryin' to run away, babe?"
"Slow down, sexy,"
I stumble back, scared.
He moved forward, trying to get closer to me but before he could, I turned around and ran.
One of them is here. No. No. No.
No!
No matter how much I tried forgetting about what had happened two nights ago, I just couldn't.
I knew, I had heard this voice that night. I could bet on my life, it had been one of the voices in the alley that night.
What if they found out that I'm here? What if they are after me?
My thoughts were running wild.
Would they try to hurt me again? Should I tell someone?
I didn't know what to do. I wasn't even sure if I was a hundred percent right.
But that voice..
