DahHell Chapter-2 Miss Bee, Already?

"Bianca, honey. You're gonna be late to school if you don't wake up soon," I heard mom call out from downstairs.

After what had happened last night I shut myself in my room. My parents tried asking me if something was wrong, but I couldn't tell them. I didn't want to tell them. Yes, I was scared but I didn't want my family worrying about me.

"Bia..? I'm coming in," Gabe said after a soft knock on my door.

I pulled the blanket tighter around me burying myself in its warmth as my brother opened my door and slid inside. "Bia, you okay?" asked a worried Gabriell. I loved my brother, we were really close. We usually shared everything with each other but somehow I couldn't get myself to tell him about last night. Though Gabe was a year younger than me, he was like an over-protective older brother who would just blame himself for not being there with me.

So I nodded.

"What's wrong, sis? You've been awfully quiet since last night," he walked over to my bed and sat at its edge.

"N-nothing, just missing home," I croaked, my throat was dry because of all the crying I had done lately. "You know how I hate going to new schools."

"Oh come on, Bia, it's gonna be fine. You're gonna love this place. People around here are really nice," he reassured me.

Didn't seem like it after last night..

I got up and crawled over to my little brother, still wrapped in my blanket. As I neared him, he lifted his arm so I could snuggle into his embrace and rest my head on his shoulder. Gabriell rubbed the length of my arm as I hugged him tight.

"So, shall we get ready for school, Your Highness?" he asked teasingly.

I smiled at my brother and nodded, as mom called us down again. "Go ahead, I'll be downstairs in a few minutes."

"We are driving to school together, right?" he asked.

I pulled back and looked at him grinning, "Of course we are."

Gabe had just gotten his driver's license last November when he turned sixteen and though both of us had our own cars now, we preferred riding together, for some reason. I don't really know what made us do that, but it felt like a bond between the two of us. Our time with each other.

"I'm driving!" Gabe exclaimed and sprinted across the room, making me smile wider.

The school was huge.

Like seriously huge! It was almost a freaking castle.

It had long open corridors facing the basketball court and an enormous ground. Trees surrounded the entire school almost hiding it from the view. All that an outsider could see was the school's main tower with the Big Ben replica of a clock.

This wasn't a typical American school. It was different. There was a garden with two huge Christmas trees and little flowers of lavender neatly spluttered around them. Just as I was about to enter the garden - which I'm gonna call Eden because it's just so beautiful - I heard the bell. Realizing that I had no idea where my classes were I decided to enjoy Eden later and get my schedule.

Maths AP.

That was my first destination. Only if I knew were to go. Gabe's new friends dragged him away as soon as we got to school and I was left on my own to figure out where to go.
