Chapter 14.

Luke's POV
I kept thinking about that kiss that I gave Michelle. Tons of fireworks were exploding. I enjoyed the kiss. I hope Michelle did too. But what surprised me the most was that she kissed back. I texted Michelle the details of the date but I didn't tell her where we are going. I'm taking her on a picnic by the beach. I really need help to set up though. This needs to be perfect. I decided to talk to my mom so she can help me set up the picnic. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock at my door, I turned around and saw Calum standing there.
"What do you want?" I snapped. Calum came in and sat on the chair that was next to my bed.
"I want to be friends with Michelle." he said looking at me.
"Really?" I said. He nodded and smiled.
"Okay. You have to change though like no more calling her names and when we are at school you can't call her names either. Same goes to Michael." I said.
"Oh and no more beating her up." I added.
"Got it." Calum said. I told Calum about the date and he is helping me and the date is tomorrow night. I really hope it goes well.
"When is this date?" Calum asked.
"Tomorrow." I said. He smiled widely.
"Why are you smiling?" I asked.
"I'm planning on telling her I want to be friends with her too and I'm obviously apologizing as well." He said.
"Oh okay." I said. For the rest of the night we were playing and talking. Calum soon left and I took my clothes off leaving my boxers on and went to bed. But before I sent Michelle a text. It said:
Me:Goodnight angel. Sleep well.
Michelle's POV
I put on my pajama shorts with my red tank top shirt. I went to bed and started thinking about why would Luke Hemmings kiss me. I mean I enjoyed it. I was about to fall asleep when my phone buzzes. I checked it and saw I had a message from Luke, I opened it and smiled.
Lukey🐧: Goodnight angel. Sleep well.
I turned my phone off and went to sleep. Thinking about Luke.

I woke up due to my phone ringing. I checked my clock and it was 8:38. It's Saturday who would be calling me at 8:38. I grabbed my phone and without checking the caller ID I answered.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi. Like that morning voice." he said. Why would Luke call me at 8:38 in the morning.
"Luke it fucking Saturday and its 8:38. Why are you calling so early?" I said.
"I wanted to remind you that I'll be picking you up around 6:30 for our date." He said. Shit I completely forgot.
"Ok I'll be ready. By the way thanks for waking me up I just remembered I need to call Jesus." I said. I also forgot to call Jesus.
"Jesus?" Luke asked.
"Jesus is my brother." I said.
"Oh okay. Your welcome. Go call him angel I'll call you later." Luke said. I blushed at the name Luke called me.
"Bye." I said hanging up. I called Jesus and he picked up after the third ring.
"Hey michy." Jesus said.
"Hi. Are you busy?" I asked.
"No. I was waiting for your call." He said.
"Okay. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine enjoying my break." Jesus said. I was about to say something when I hear a knock downstairs.
"Hold on Jesus someone is knocking on the door." I said getting up from my bed and going downstairs.
"Take your time." He said. I opened the door and my eyes went wide.
"Jesus!" I said hugging him.
"Hey mich. Before you ask I told mom and dad I'd be coming here to visit you." He said.
"Oh my gosh. I'm happy your here. But there is a problem." I said
"What?" He asked.
"I won't be showing you around today. I have a date with Luke." I said.
"Luke your bully?" He asked. I nodded.
"We've been getting along and he is planning on changing." I said.
"Just let him know that if he hurts my sister he is getting it." Jesus said smiling.
"Either way I want to sleep so show me around tomorrow." Jesus added. I nodded and help him to the guest room. Man this house has a lot of rooms. There are like 15 rooms in here. After helping Jesus set in I started getting ready since me and Jesus took a long time setting in and it's 4:30. I took a shower and I put in my blue dress with my black flats since I don't like heels that much. I mean I wear them but not as much. I curled my hair and I put a little bit of make up. I grabbed my phone and checked the time 6:05. Damn I guess I do take a long time getting ready. Obviously I'm a girl and most girls take a long time. I decided to watch tv for a little bit until Luke comes, I was watching SpongeBob. I love that show. I heard Rosemary coming down the stairs.
"Hey Rosemary." I said. She came over to me and sat next to me.
"When can we have time together?" She asked.
"Tomorrow?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.
"Who you going out with that you put on a beautiful dress?" She asked.
"Luke." I said. She smiled and then that smile turned into a smirk.
"Now you kids have fun but don't have that much fun." She said. I pushed her playfully and laughed. I heard a knock on the door and I got up to get it but Rosemary beat me. She opened the door and then Luke came in. He was holding red flowers and was wearing a button up shirt with black pants.
"Is Michelle here?" He asked. I went to where Rosemary was standing.
"Here." I said. Luke looked at me and smiled.
"These are for you angel." he said. I blushed and took the flowers and put them in a glass and put it in the middle of my table.
"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and grabbed my sweater.
"Now like I told Michelle-" Rosemary said but I cut her off
"Rosemary don't say it." I said.
"Okay okay. Now you kids have fun but not too much." she said.
"Rosemary!" I said. She laughed and I closed the door. Luke took me to a car and opened the passenger door for me.
"Thank you." I said sitting. Luke closed the door and went to the drivers door and opened it and sat down and closed the door. Luke turned the engine on and we drove off.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked after a comfortable silence.
"It's a surprise." he said. I groaned and looked out the window. Luke grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I blushed and smiled.
"Okay we are here." Luke said. Luke got out of the car and ran to the passenger door and opened it for me. I smiled and got out of the car.
"You look beautiful." Luke said.
"You look handsome." I said. Luke got out a bandana and put it on me.
"No peeking." he said. I nodded and let him take me where ever he was taking me. Once we stopped he took off the bandana and I was amazed.
"Wow. It's so beautiful." I said. There was a blanket on the sand with a basket in the middle and it was close to the water.
"You like it?" Luke asked taking me to the blanket.
"Love it." I said. We sat down and started eating. There was sandwiches and two water bottles.
"Now I didn't know what to put in the basket so I just put sandwiches and water." Luke said.
"I don't care. It's perfect." I said. We were finished with our sandwiches and we decided to walk by the beach.
"Did you bring extra clothes?" Luke asked me. I looked at him confused.
"Because I was planning on doing this." he added. With that Luke pushed me into the cold water.
"Luke it's cold!" I said. I got out of the water and pushed Luke.
"Oh my god it is cold." he said.
"Told you." I said. Luke came out of the water and we walked to the car. He pulled out two shirts and sweats.
"Since I didn't tell you. I brought you my clothes." He said. I nodded and went to the bathroom and changed. I came out the bathroom and saw Luke waiting for me by the blanket. I went to him and sat down next to him. Luke had another blanket wrapped around him, he saw me and shared with the blanket and Luke had his arm around me.
"Someone is here to say sorry as well." Luke said.
"Who?" I asked. I was confused. Who?
"Me." I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw Calum standing there.
"Calum?" I asked. Luke nodded.
"Look Michelle I'm very sorry for everything I've done. I don't know why I bullied you. I guess I was helping Luke. But I also want to be friends with you. I'm sorry. Can we be friends?" Calum said. I nodded and smiled. Calum pulled me up and hugged me.
"Thanks." he said.
"No Problem everyone makes mistakes." I said.
"True." He said. All three of us were talking and then Calum sat down in front of me and Luke.
"Let's play truth or dare." Calum said.
"Why?" I asked.
"I'm bored." Calum said.
"Fine." I said.
"Luke truth or dare?" Calum asked.
"Dare." Luke said in a 'duh' tone.
"I dare you to...kiss Michelle." He said. Luke turned and faced me looking at me if it was okay and I nodded. Luke leaned in and I did the same and his lips were on mine. There goes the fireworks. I pulled away and blushed. After playing truth or dare, Calum left and it was just me and Luke again.
"Michelle?" Luke asked.
"Hm." I said.
"I love you." Luke said facing me.
"I...like you." I said. It was true I do like Luke. I think I might as well love him.
"I know this is our first date and we don't know each other that well but do you want to be my girlfriend?" He said.
"Yes." I said. Luke smiled and kissed me. I was happy for once again. Luke soon took me home and I put my pajamas and went to bed. Before falling asleep my phone buzzed. I look at it and saw I had a message from Luke. I changed his contact name when we were in the car. It went Lukey🐧 to My Penguin🐧. Luke looks like a penguin to me.
My Penguin🐧: sleep well baby girl. I love you.
Me:goodnight my penguin. I love you as well.
I guess I do love Luke. I went to sleep with Luke on my mind.
