After being at the hospital for two days you were finally aloud to go home. Everyone came to visit you at the hospital. Fury was exited to see his granddaughter. And aunt Alexia had never been more exited to see a baby. Bucky also came to visit, he's really good with kids. But Steve stayed with you every second.
You held onto Sarah as Steve opened your. apartment door, you two walk in. You instantly felt your empty apartment brighten up. It finally felt like a home.
You sit down on the couch and just look down at Sarah. "What do I know do ?" You ask Steve
"What do you mean ?" He asks
"Now she's born, what do I do with her ?" You ask
"You take care of her, love her, make memories with her, watch her grow" Steve says "you just had her 3 days ago, you have many years to go" Steve sits down next to you.
"Your right, but she's sleeping" you cry
"It's the medicine" Steve shakes his head.

Sarah was sleeping in the nursery as you and Steve were cuddling in the couch.
"Steve what happen after I passed out ?" You ask as you look up at him
"A lot of things" he says
"No really what happened to Arnim and how did you guys get out ?" You ask
"Well I held you and Bucky had Sarah. The whole place was in lockdown so we couldn't really get out the exit, luckily Bucky knew a way out from some sort of lab. I asked Bucky what we should do about Arnim and Bucky said he had handled it" Steve tells you
"What did Bucky do, is it even possible to kill Arnim he's in a literal Tv screen" you both lightly laugh
"Don't know, he said he had handled it, and I believe him" Steve says
"Yeah me too" you say as you rest you head back in his shoulder. After a long silence you ask "did I do the right thing ? killing Rob ?" You ask
"You saved your child's life, you stoped a man from being tortured, you saved the people you loved. You tell me Y/n. Did you do the right thing ?" Steve says
"I guess i did" you say.
"Can I tell you something ?" Steve says
"Sure" you say
"Nick fury assigned me and Bucky to go and a mission...... with..... Tony stark" Steve says
"Holy shit no way !?" You say surprised "why didn't he assign me ?" You ask
"Because you just had a baby for god sake" Steve's says
"Okay fair, but get a picture with him if you can" you say
Steve laughs "fine I'll try" he says as you both laugh.
"Okay I really need to take a shower, can you-" Steve cuts you off
"Yes I will take care of Sarah while your in the shower" Steve says stealing the world out your mouth
"Thank you" you tap a small kiss on his cheeks then get up.
After a long time you finally felt clean.
You still were a bit curious what Bucky did to Arnim, but you have to forget it, now you have bigger things to focus on.
You get out of shower and see Steve laying on the couch with Sarah. Sarah was all cuddled up on his chest, Steve lightly taping her back with his hand.
"You two look cute" you say as you walk into you bedroom to get dressed
"I think she really likes me" you hear Steve yell from the living room.
You just smile and shake your head. You put on some comfortable sweatpants and a T-shirt. You take the towel out of your hair and throw it on the bed. Now Steve is standing up with Sarah still in his arms as he rocks her back and forth.
"You don't have to keep her In your arms, just put her in the crib" you tell him Steve walks i the nursery.
You go get yourself a glass of water, when you turn around you see Steve standing behind you. He looks you up and down.

He puts his hand on your face.
"You know I feel very lucky" Steve says
"For what ?" You ask him
"You" he says. He bends down and kisses you on the cheek. "Y/n ever since are fist kiss on that mission, I couldn't stop thinking about it and I was so sure something would happen with us, but then Rob came along and I couldn't talk to you about it"
"Why ?"
"I couldn't ruin your family. Rob was back and you were so excited" Steve says "I know how much you wanted the perfect family"
"Well forget it now, Rob's gone, it just you and me" you say getting closer to Steve "and Sarah" you add. "I have the perfect family"
Steve laughs.
He holds your face gently as he presses a light kiss on you forehead.
