Night
You laid on the bed "Steve ?" You whisper
"Yes ?" Steve whispers back, he turns around on the couch. Now he's looking at you and your looking at him.
"I'm I bad for moving on ?" You ask him
"Moving on from what ?" He asks
"From Rob, I somehow don't miss him like I used to" you admit.
"Dose that make me a bad person ?" Yous ask
"Of course not. Peggy moved on, is she a bad person ?" He asks you
"No. She moved on but did you ?" You ask him.
There is a light silence "yeah, it's taking time but I'm getting there" he says
Somehow that comforted you- shortly after you two fall asleep.
Day of the mission
You wake up to the radio crackling, you quickly get up trying to get a good signal "This in Nick fury dose anyone copy ?" You hear the familiar comforting sound say. You let out the breath you had been holding in
"Yes it's me Y/n. Nick can you hear me ?" You say
"Yes we hear you loud and clear" you hear Nick says "how are you Y/n ?" He ask
"I'm good, we both are" you say talking about you and the baby
"What happed, did the mission fail" he ask
As much as you didn't want to admit it you had to "yes we lost the pilot, but all four of are agents are stuck inside. Hopefully they are still alive" you say.
"What about the captain ?"
"He's here with me he got shot in the leg but he's good now" you tell Nick. You thought Steve was sleeping. "He's been taking care of me and the baby" you tell Nick
"Good. He kept his promise" Nick says "but enough talking how can we help you with out blowing your cover ?"
"I don't know we are in a bunker right now" you tell him
"Okay. I don't know if it's still there but if you look under the bed you will find some guns and bombs" Nick fury explains.
You cheek under the bed "Okay I found it thanks" You say getting all the stuff from under the bed
"Is that all ?" He asks on the phone
"One motorcycle for me" you hear Steve say in his deep morning voice.
"Is that you Rogers ?" Nick ask
"It sure is" Steve talks on the radio
"Great to hear your okay captain" Nick says
"Thanks to Y/n" Steve smiles at you. "She's a great company"
"Hey ! No funny business Rogers" Nick says
"I wouldn't dare" you and Steve laugh. Nick tells Steve where he could fine a motorcycle.
You lose signal.
Steve sits next to you "how are you ?" He ask
"I'm good" you look into his his ocean blue eyes.
"And the baby ?" He asks
"It's good, kicked me all night" you tell him
"Really so you have a little kicker ?" He asks "Have you thought of names ?" He ask another question
"No not really, I don't know the gander" you say "Rob and I use to talk about having kids he always wanted a son" you tell Steve
"And you. What do you want ?" He asks you
"A little girl" you say "I can dress here up" you say
"So you do have a girly side" Steve laughs. You hide your face a bit embarrassed of the fact you have a girly side "I think it's cute" Steve says "If I get kids one day I want a girl" he tells you
"You will be a great father" you tell him.
"Thanks" he says. He gets up and goes to the bathroom.
It was wired you were starting to get soft on Steve.
While you waited for him to get back from the bathroom you were talking to your little baby, you never talked to your bump or considered yourself being pregnant but the more your bump started to show the more attached our got.
"Mommy is so excited to meet you" you place your worm hand on your belly, as the kicking starts again.
You see Steve walk out of the bathroom wearing the same outfit as all the guards in the lab. He will fit perfectly in "How do I look ?" He asks
"Very stupid" you laugh
"What do you mean ?" He gets offended
You walk up to him.
He cups your face in his big worm hands "if something happens to me today I want you too-" you shut him up with a kiss
"Nothing will happen, okay ?" You wrap your arms around his neck "you promise to come back" you whisper in his ear
"I promise" he says wrapping his arms around you hugging you tight, but not to tight don't want to crush the baby "while I'm gone you need to take care of yourself and the little one" Steve says walking away.
"You remember where the motorcycle is ? " you ask.
He nods and climbs out of the bunker, you look at him leave.
The plan you guys made first had changed. The new plan was Not to send any new Agents, they could blow your cover. Steve goes in though the vent he will free Agent brown and Williams they will stop the guards while Steve gets The other two Agents, they will be able to hack trough the system and get the door open that will lead them straight to the kids they needed to free. The only problem was that you had no way to contact Steve, you wouldn't know if he had saved them or not but you had to wait patiently not for you for the child you were carrying.
You waited a whole day and there was no sight of Steve he said once he would free all the people he would come straight back to you.
You waited and waited this felt like the time when you waited for Rob to get back home, but he never did.
"No stay positive" you say to yourself "he is a supersoldier, he will be fine" you calm yourself down.
