I open my eyes to the stone room again. There are still small droplets of water seeping from the ceiling. The same torches line the same walls. The same cold and dark feeling floats in the damp air. There are so many bad memories here, yet now, I don't know what to think of them. I am so confused on why this is happening. What did I do to be tortured in my dreams by a smoke monster? A bright moving image on the wall to my right interrupts my thought process. I look over to see the graphic image. It's my vision. The girl being burned alive, the townspeople shouting horrible things at her. I tear up, feeling a strange emotional connection to the event. Then, to my left, I see something move in the darkness. I turn sharply, and I feel my body slip into a fighting stance. The smoke figure emerges from the shadows.

"You can't use your powers if your hands are clenched," it said in its familiar deep voice.

"My powers? You know, you never bothered to explain that to me," I said mildly annoyed.

"Ahh, yes. I never did, did I? Well, you aren't who you think you are. You aren't really Madeline Chambers-"

"My name is Maddie," I corrected it.

"Right," It said. "As I was saying, you aren't really Maddie Chambers. You are the second version of Victoria Red."

"What? How-"

"How is that even possible? When you, Night Hunter, and Queen Elaine died, he put a spell on you all-"

Again, I interrupted it saying, "Who is 'he'? You should really learn how to explain things more thoroughly."

It sighed getting annoyed with my questions. "The 'he' I am talking about is the Dark Mage. don't you know anything?"

"No," I replied.

"Of course not. Well, in your previous life you were Victoria Red. Felecity was Night Hunter and Charlotte was Queen Elaine. The Dark Mage wanted to kill you three himself, but after only getting to Felecity, he cursed you three to live your second lives as weak teenage girls, just so he can kill you himself . I'm here to help you three realize your powers and practice using them."

"Does that mean you visit Felecity and Charlotte in their dreams too?"

"Yes, Maddie. Now we've run out of time. I shall see you tonight."

I slowly opened my eyes. I knew for a fact I wasn't in my hotel room. I was in someone else's. "Hi beautiful. Glad you're up." I knew that voice. The voice that comforted me when my mother died. The voice that used to always make me melt inside.

"Justin?" I croaked out. "Yeah. It's me." My throat was dry and I felt like I was going to die of dehydration. "Water." I said in my raspy voice.

Justin immediately got up out off of the chair he was sitting on and got me a cup of cold water. I sat up and gulped down the glorious liquid. "Anyways. What are you doing here?" I asked curiously. Why was he here and not Zach?

"Well you kind of fell into me when you fainted. So since you were already in my arms, Mr. Sunshine had me take you to your room." "And how may I ask did you get in?" "Felicity gave me the key."

I started to zone out. "Mads, can we talk? " Justin asked. I looked up at him. "About what?" "Us." What the fuck? Hell to the no.

" What is there to talk about? You cheated on me. With Valerie." Hah. If he thinks that he is getting me back he is delusional. "Listen Mads. I know I fucked up, but I was drunk." "Justin, it doesn't matter if you were drunk or not. Alcohol messes with your head, not your morals."
