"Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!" Was the first thing a wide-eyed Charlotte said to me when she came to pick me up for school. I get that she's excited to go to France today, but like dude, calm down. I grab my average-sized black leather suitcase and classic tan fringe purse and head to Charlotte's car where I find Felicity already seated in the lush passenger seat.
"Damn you," I say.
"What? You can't always have shotgun!" She replies. "Oh and by the way, good luck fitting."
"What does that me- Oh," I say as I open the trunk to find Charlotte's big-ass pink suitcase, white leather purse, and the duffel bag she uses to camp out for concerts along with Felicity's black duffel bag. "Really?!" I say mainly to Charlotte. "You know you aren't moving to France, right?"
"I wish!" Is all she says and with that, I shove my things in, hop in the back, and Charlotte drives us to school with music blasting from the speakers. We got to school early because Charlotte was so excited to get to France that she sped past the coffee shop and did not look back. Damn. I was hoping to get a cappuccino. I'll just get one at the airport. At least I think there's a Starbucks at the airport, there usually is. When we get to our school, all the guys are here as well as Avery and Sarah. Everyone is either talking to someone or texting. So I decide to slip on my teal headphones and listen to some guy named Alex Ross while looking into the hotel we will be staying in.
"Hey guys. Come over here," I say to everbody. Zach is the first to reach me since he was the closest.
"What's up Maddie." Everyone is around me is now.
"The Diamond Paris Hotel, the hotel we're staying at, is absolutley beautiful. And get this. The hotel includes high-speed internet, a fitness center, a business center, a resturant on site, a pool, room service, parking, a meeting event place, family travel, and a full service spa."
"Holy shit yes!" Charlotte screeches.
"Charlotte shut up!" I yell back.
"Why don't you all shut up?" I turn to face the voice. Justin.
"Felecity. Hold my hoops. I repeat. 'Hold my hoops,'" I fire.
"Maddie, calm down," I hear Zach tell me.
"You're right I do need to calm down."
"Okay. Is everyone here?" Miss. Orabelle asks. We respond with choruses of "yes". "Alrighty then. We will be going to the airport on a bus. Once at the airport, you will split into your assigned groups and do all the security and what not. Since we are trusting you guys, you can do some shopping or get some breakfast but you must be at gate G7 with passport signed and ready to board by 11:00. Thank you for your attention. Time to get on the bus." We get our suitcases, duffels, and purses, and put them in the storage section on the bus.

As soon as the plane landed, Charlotte raced towards the gift shops and dragged Vince along with her. I watched as Charlotte picked up cute little tea cups, fans, and other trinkets and showed them to Vince. Of course he didn't care, but he showed interest to make her happy. Vince whispered in her ear what I presume to be jokes, and made her laugh and smile. Charlotte looked happy with him and it was absolutely adorable. "They would be such a cute couple." I said to myself.
"Agreed," said a voice coming from my right side, "if they'd only admit their feelings to each other." It was Zach.
"I know another two people who'd make a great couple." I said.
"Yeah, I think I know who your talking about and your right, they would." he replied. And with that he put his arm around my shoulder and we watched the two lovebirds at the gift shop while in our own nest of love. Unfortunately, our moment had just been interrupted by Jake bumping into us.
"Sorry!" Jake said. We looked back and students were walking out of the airport.
"We better get going." said Zach.
"I'll go get Charlotte and Vince." I replied. As I jogged over towards where Charlotte and Vince were, I noticed Mr. Sunshine in a crowd of people. What is he doing here? He's not supposed to go on the trip with us. I looked back to Charlotte and Vince. They noticed the other students leaving and grabbed their things. I looked back at Mr. Sunshine and he wasn't there. In fact, it looked like he hadn't ever been there. Oh well; it was probably just my imagination.
We loaded our things onto the red double decker bus that would take us to the hotel we are staying at. I'd never been on a vehicle with more than one story before. I got on the bus and explored. There was a black railed spiral staircase that took you to the second floor of the bus. I climbed up the metal staircase with my luggage and there was Charlotte and Vince, occupying the front seats. I took my seat near the middle of the second floor by Felicity. "How are you doing?" I asked. "Tired as fuck. This jetlag is killing me."
