Sea Witch (Prospective) 

I swim home and sit down. I turn on the t.v. Suddenly I had a vision. I see a kid with a knife going after Emma. I knew I had to save her. The next day I watched the fight start in the corner of the building. I hear three kids surrounding Emma. Troy smiles as he turns his muscles larger. One kid turns into a shadow and one kid holds a knife in his mouth. "You see Emma you're powerless one of the last kids without power in the grade what are you going to do," Troy asked. "Put down the knife this is a fistfight," Emma said "fights aren't far Emma" Troy laughed. They lean in closer. I rush in and push everyone down. I was my squid tentacles. I hold Emma behind me and show my tentacles in a threatening way, by spreading them out. The boy ran away. The kids laugh. I glare at them as I slowly take Emma away from the area. I take her to the park and sit her down. I knew I had to talk about her birth but I didn't want to. "How long have you known?" I asked "Known about what," Emma asked "The fact I adopted you" I cried tears rushing down my face. "Wait that was legit," Emma said "I was talking out of my ass," Emma said. "Emma sea witches can't have kids of their own," I said "Oh yeah I remember that now," Emma said "why didn't I connect two and two" Emma went on "Emma I know who your parent does you want to know who they are," I asked "You know what not really you are enough," Emma said I felt great about that I felt like done my job.

"Now let's talk about that fight you had today," I remarked. "I'm the only one without powers so everyone goes after me for it will I just not get one," Emma asked. "Power or no power your time will come when the time is right," I said "I won't start fighting ok but I can't guarantee I'd get in one," Emma said "Thank you, Emma," I said this time I had a feeling she would change. We began to swim home. My body burns and aches from my aging body. I lay down feeling my joints stab life knives. I listen to Emma do her homework on the couch with a blanket covering my cold body. I smile then fall asleep through the agony for the first time in a long time. Within a few years, I was prone to a wheelchair. I saw my daughter go through puberty and become the woman I saw in my visions. Emma was strong and bold. One day I will go to see Kurtis. It'd been five years since he hid something from me but I felt something was up. He didn't tell me tomorrow's future. "I know you, Mireya, you'd stop what will happen, it'll change the future and change Emma's fate," Kurtis said. I'd seen a reality where I died saving Emma leaving her orphaned but that started. I already knew she'd be orphaned as I'd die before she turned into an adult but I couldn't help feeling there was more. "I know you know of Emma but after your death, a war, a terrible war, sea witch and the kingdom start this is one reality which I prevent. I told Emma to take a punch so she can prove that Troy is bullying him without mercy." I smiled and he was smart to think of this plan "You have come a long way haven't you" I said. "Thank you," Kurtis replied.

I know I wasn't supposed to come to the fight but I did. I stood in the back of the corner of the high school and watched the events. "Take the first punch," Emma said "You're joking," Troy said "Nope" Emma replied "Whatever you're planning it won't work," Troy said Emma got punched into a wall. I feel a cringe but I remain knowing the future if I don't. She stands up "Comeon I can take it," Emma says "This is a new low for you Emma" Troy mocks, hitting her in the face blood gushes out her mouth and nose. Emma stumbles as she wipes the blood off her face. Emma smirks "That it" Emma mocked. Troy stopped using his power. "I .. I.." Troy was utterly confused. "I'll DO IT I'LL DO MY DEATH blow," he said to Emma. Suddenly, I heard the chariot of the king. "Troy what the hell is this" he yelled his brother was there holding a hand-made triton. "Today you get your triton and you treat the sea witch's daughter like this" The king yelled. "She started this whole thing the whole family started this whole thing I'm just making the sea witch see what power I have what a king is really worth," Troy said "Isn't that right king" Troy mocked "Being king isn't just power but being loving" Thomas said I looked at as best I could. "Well, we'll have to hold the triton ceremony for a little later," The king said "What NO FAIR" Troy said "would you join us for dinner," the queen asked "all of you not just you Kurtis, Troy, and your daughter deserve some apologies," The queen said. I nod "let's do that Emma this might be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the future king," I said "Ok mom," Emma said.
