I decided to look for Mirabel to check up on her once more before heading home.

Y/n's pov:

I knocked on Mirabel's bedroom door.

"Mira-?" The door quickly flung open and Mirabel pulled me inside. She looked nervous, worried and scared.

"Is everything ok-?"

"Did you see cracks? Anywhere?"

I shook my head. "No... actually I left the house and went for a walk around town. I just now got back and wanted to check up on you."

Mirabel sighed and sat down at her bed. I sat down next to her.

"I swear... I saw cracks all over the house but when I went to show everyone.. they didn't believe me.."

Mirabel showed much sadness in her eyes and it made me feel sorry for her. I rubbed her back, comforting her as her eyes slowly filled with tears.

"Hey.. it's ok. I'm sure there's an explanation to what you saw."

Mirabel took off her glasses and wiped her eyes.

"Yea... but anyways it's late and you should probably go home now. I don't wanna keep you up with my nonsense." Mirabel said, as she stood quickly and opened the door of her room.

She's... scared.

I got up and gave her a hug before waving goodbye and heading home.

Camilo's pov:

I threw myself onto my bed and groaned loudly. I heard my bedroom door open and close.

"When I said to start conversation with her... I meant as yourself.. not as some random lady."

Dolores sat next to me.

I sighed and sat up.

"I know. I just got nervous and scared and I...
I don't know.."

Dolores said nothing and gave me a tight hug.

Y/n's pov:

The next morning...

I headed to town to pick up some ingredients for my mom. She was gonna make empanadas for dinner tonight. Yum.

"Hola, Buenos días." I greeted, as I pointed to everything my mother needed. I paid and was about to head home, but then I remembered I needed new blue paint. I headed to the small shop where I always bought all of my art supplies. I scanned the blue paints until I found a perfect shade of blue. I paid and started walking back home. I heard a loud sound of children laughing behind me and turned around. I stepped to the side quickly as someone almost ran into me. A flash of yellow scared me as I let out a breath of relief that I wasn't toppled over. A boy around my age, with curly hair, turned to me.

"Oh,, sorry excuse me hermosa." He said, as a big group of kids gathered around him.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "I saw you yesterday. At the gift ceremony. Your one of the Madrigals, correct?"

Of course he was. Anyone could recognize him.

"Yea, that's me." He said shyly, with a small smile played on his lips.

3rd person pov:

Camilo bent down quickly. He picked up a small pink rose and instantly stood up again, fidgeting with the flower for a second before handing it to Y/n.
