One Night Stand

I woke up to an empty bed and a killer headache. I sat up and looked at the window recalling last nights events with M.

He carried me upstairs so gently while he planted kisses on my face and neck. We made it to my room were he then layed me on my bed and stripped me of my tank and shorts leaving me in only my undergarments. He stripped down to his boxers before laying down behind me in a spooning position and held me. He held me.

"I got you now" is the only thing I remember him saying before I drifted off into a deep sleep with his arms around me.

I don't know how I'm going to explain that he is Royals father because things are now pretty awkward due to last nights events. The one thing I don't want is for him to flip out and start saying I'm crazy but worst of all I don't want him to deny her. They have strong similarities so I hope he's not coward enough to deny her and if he ask for a DNA test I'll be happy to provide one for him. I get up to go take my shower. After my fifteen minute shower I lotion up and brush my teeth and get dressed. I put on a burgandy skater dress with a cream kimono over it with my burgandg Chuck Taylor's. I'm going to have lunch with Angie before I go pick up my baby girl. I grab my purse and keys and lock up my apartment. I call Angie while I walk to the car. She answers on the third ring.

"Hello" she says all jolly.

"Hey I'm on my way to the cafe now, where are you?"

"I'm already here germ but its okay because I was early on purpose girl" she says laughing.

"Alright I'll see you in a minute" I say before hanging up and starting my car.

When I got to the cafe I seen Angie's car and parked next to it in the empty space. I entered the cafe to see Angie in a bright peach sundress and she looked really pretty.

"Hey girly" she says while getting up to hug me. I hug her back and sit down.

" Hey girl, how you been?"

"Girl, I have been fine" she says while flipping her long brown hair.

"I can tell" I say laughing
"But I have a serious problem and I need a little bit of help in what to do" I say before sipping some of the water Angie had ordered for me.

"Well tell me what's up" she says with a concerned look.

"Okay so I found the person from my one night stand five years ago AKA royals father" I say saddened by the thought that it was m.

"That's great girl, but why do you look so sad?"

"Well the person is M, our boss" I say with watery eyes. Angie looked shocked.

"Well are you sure?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah I'm sure because I remembered his tattoo on his torso and yesterday when he came over I saw it" I say all in one breath.

"Wait why was he at your house?" Angie asked looking a little hurt.

"He had gotten injured and didn't want to go to the hospital so he came to my apartment"

"So what happened that you saw his bare torso?" She asked calmly.

"He had been hit in the shoulder so he had to take his shirt off and when I was done patching him up I looked down to rap up my kit and I saw the tattoo" I say looking down.

"Well what happened afterwards?"

"I started crying so he told I got you now and carried me upstairs to my room and he just laid with me and held me" I say looking straight at her.

"Wow Germany, are you going to tell him?"

"I don't know, how do you tell someone something like that?"

"You have to be straight forward with him, tell him and since your sure it's his tell him you will also get a DNA test"

"Okay I guess I'll think about it, thank you for listening to me and my crazy problems but I have to go pick up royal from grandmas so I'll see you later okay" I say while gathering my things from the table and standing up.

"Alright just call me anytime" she says while hugging me.

"You know it" I say before I walking out to get in my car.

I knock on my grandmothers door because her doorbell doesn't work and she opens the door for me after a couple seconds.

"Hey ma, how you doing?" I ask smiling and giving her a hug.

"I'm good baby girl how you doing?" She asks while letting me in. I took a seat on the sofa hearing royals footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Good I guess-"

"Mommy!" Royal says jumping on my lap and giving me a bear hug.

"Hi baby, I missed you so much. Did you have fun at grandmas?"

"Yeah, we made cookies and watched tv all night"

"You wasn't supposed to tell mommy that royal, remember what we said?" My grandma said while chuckling at royal.

"Oh yeah, sorry grandma. Forget the last part mommy"

We stayed for a little bit and left so royal could go home. I already called a baby sitter and she's upstairs tucking royal in her bed for me because I'm running extremely late for work.

"Bye iyanna I'll be back soon" I yell to her upstairs.

"Okay see you soon"

With that being said I walked out and set off my journey to what I call work.
