It had been a week since that day me and JJ spent together, we hadn't seen each other since then, JJ was ditching school with John B for a whole week or so and I was with Pope.
It was 8:30 am when I woke up and got ready for school, my school started at 9 so I was fine "JJ?!" I whispered loudly
"Hey Kie." He said nervously
"What are you doing here?!" I sat myself up
"Did you do something?" I said jokingly with my a smile
"Maybe?" He said, I looked at him with disappointment a bit
"Really JJ one week without me and your like this?" I said jokingly
"What did you do then." I said with a blank face "I- I know your gonna say-"
"What did you do" every word I said slowly but louder
"I helped my dad out of jail" I was mad but mostly disappointed
"You did what!" I said as my voice got loud "Kie he's my father no matter how much I try to hate him or kill him....I can't." He says fast with a convincing tone
"Okay- okay. Well what's the problem?" I said confused "I might go to jail." He said with a voice of disappointment of himself
"Hey! It's... it's fine. I'll try to bail you out if you do." I said trying to calm how down, smiling
"Thank you so much Kiara." For the first time it was okay for him to mess up why? Cause I think I like him...And I didn't want to like him, not cause of his decisions or cause of his life but because of our friendships with Pope and John B
I stand up from the bed and considering I brought my clothes to got ready for the day in front of JJ, he looked like he was enjoying it but the enjoyment left when I left to my restroom
I finally finished getting ready and headed back to my room and JJ was on my bed looking around my room
