/ Soobin's pov \

Kai sits down in his seat in class.

"What's wrong?" He looks back at me, I furrow my brows confused.

"I assume there's something wrong. Your biting on your nails and shaking your leg" he points out causing me to stop.

I let out a nervous laugh while nodding, "have you spoken with Yeoni?" I ask him.

He nods, "yeah, she's running late" he smiles.

I look down nodding, "why? Did something happen between you two?" He speaks.

I sigh look back up, "last night, she came over and I...I was so stupid" I lightly hit my head.

He looks at me with high brows confused, "I kissed her, I- I don't think she likes me" I explain.

He drops his jaw, "what!? What did she say?" He leans over more intrigued.

"Not much, she left after. I tried texting her but...she left me on read" I mumble.

He hums furrowing his brows, "you can talk to her today!" He smiles.

"She probably just went to sleep, it'll go fine" he gives me a thumbs up.

I admire his confidence.

Just then, Yeoni sits down in her seat in front of me.

She's wearing a jacket.

Which might not seem like much but...

"Here, if you don't want people to ask questions, don't make it visible"

I told her that, I told her to hide her bruises if she didn't want questions.

Yeoni doesn't usually wear jackets, so she must be hiding something. Right?

/ Yeoni's pov \

"After school I was thinking we could go to the park" Kai speaks as the three of us walk to lunch.

"That would be nice but..I have to be home today" I mumble.

He shrugs and nods, "fine" he sighs.

I glance at Soobin, who's been silent this whole time.

He's already looking at me, with low brows.

I force a smile looking away, "what about you Soobin?" Kai hums.

"Huh? Oh, uh...I'm free" he shrugs, "cool! We can play video games at my house instead" Kai smiles.

"You down?" He holds out his fist. Soobin hesitates before bumping his fist and nodding.

After grabbing our lunch, we find a empty table and sit down.

"Aren't you hot, Yeoni?" Kai laughs while eating. I shake my head, "nope, perfectly fine" I nod.

It's so hot.

But, I can't take this off.

"Yeoni, can we talk...somewhere quiet?" Soobin speaks up before Kai can respond.

I stammer then nod placing my utensils down.

Soobin stands up as Kai and I share a look of high brows.

I follow Soobin out into the empty hallway.

He stops once we get around the corner, "what's up?" I cross my arms.

"This" he points to my jacket. I lower my brows, "he did it again, right?" He asks.

I look away slightly shaking my head, "your lying! Why can't you just accept our help?" He exclaims.
