~Alex's P.O.V~
I saved my final recorded and rushed to exit the building before Melody found a way out of my rock pile that covered her feet. I slowed to a stop as I saw James and Steve sitting on the lounge talking, and tears appeared in my eyes one more. Threatening to spill as James spoke.

" Everything alright Rosie? I thought you went to bed." I kept my head down and tried to steady my voice enough to speak.

" Just getting something from my lab, then I'm off to sleep " I continued along my path and walked straight past the entrance to my lab, which Dad was walking out of. I ran into him without even realise and stumbled back slightly before he grabbed my arms to steady me.

" Woah there kiddo, what's got you all out of sorts? Did something happen on your date?" I signed and he leant down till he was eye level. He noticed they tears in my eyes and turned confused when I shook my head no.

" I just... need a couple of minutes alone outside, I'll. I'll be sitting by the trees near the lake if anyone needs me" he let go of my biceps and I continued my walk past him. It didn't take long to reach my old hide away kit, from when i would run away from home, still in my size luckily. I reached in and grabbed the black leather jacket and reached for a helmet as I straddled one of the many motorbikes Amelia and Taylor rebuilt together grumbling when I realised that shoes I had grabbed, had not in fact been the boots that I had just bought, but were instead the heeled boots I had worn to my meeting this morning.

I watched as the light faded behind me and waited until I couldn't see any houses before I pulled out my phone. The first thing I did was text Liv that I had to leave for a little while and I was putting her in charge. The next filled me with uncharacteristic anger, I scrolled through my phone and found Melody's contract, just above James' name. My finger hovered above his contact for a couple of seconds before I made my decision and pressed on Melody's phone number.

It rang out slowly as I waited for her to answer. With it on speaker I moved back to my texts, it didn't feel right to leave without telling him something. So as the phone rang slowly I constructed my text to James, it was simple but it was all I could manage through the tears that stung my eyes at the thought that I might not see him again.

" Alex! Where the hell are you? I've been stuck in your room for ages. Look I tried to be gentle about everything but if you don't let me out soon I'm gonna be forced to tell the others about everything." I took a deep breath and tried to find where I had moved the rocks and brought them back to their natural positions. Melody's voice sounded from the other side of the phone.

" Thank you, now where are you hiding Alex. I just want to have someone make sure you're okay." I leant against my bike, the heels of my boots digging into the ground slightly as I tugged the jacket tighter around me. My green dress causing chills to rack through my body.

" I'm not hiding Mel— " she interrupted me " yes you are! I checked with ROBIN. She said you weren't in the building which means your hiding and don't want me to know where you are." My heart broke slightly, on any other occasion she would be spot on. Just like she always was growing up, but she wasn't right this time.

"— I'm not there, I can't do it anymore Mel. I can't have another birthday pass and not see him blowing candles out with me. If there is even the smallest chance he is alive... I'm going to do everything I can to find him. His life is worth more than mine, he deserves to have a life. And I stole that from him, it's time I gave it back to him."  She started talking but I was already bringing the phone away from my ear.

" You've been a good sister Mags... and I'm sorry it had to end this way." I threw the phone as far as i could and watched it disappear in the paddock beside me. I revved the bike and took off towards the collection of bodies I could feel at the end of the road.

I shut off my bike and hid it in the bushes before I began my trek on foot. And the closer I got the more pissed of I became, these bastards had been tricking my brother into thinking he had to hurt people. Lights began to appear over the hill and I marched straight up to the door, turned my head to one of their security camera's and smirked.

" Hello, I believe you have someone I'm looking for"
