-Touya’s POV-

I had received Toga’s messenger bird a while ago, she had the egg. After they had thrown me out of the Bakugou palace I sent her in. She was a master at disguises, never meeting a place she couldn’t get into. When I heard about their wedding and the egg being brought to the castle, I knew that I could get my revenge on them. I figured that if they were desperate enough to go to a witch for kids then they would be attached to it shortly after, meaning they’d do anything for it.

“Touya, what are you doing out here?” Fuyumi asked, opening the small door to the balcony.

“I was just thinking sis, don’t worry.” I replied, though she only looked more worried.

“You’re not still thinking about getting back at the Bakugou’s are you? You know that can only end poorly for everyone.” she said, slightly exasperated.

“You don’t get it! They deserve this much and worse. That little halfling should’ve been killed a long time ago.” I hissed out, seeing her flinch back.

“I’m just trying to look out for you, don’t do anything stupid ok?” she asked, her usual kind look staring me right in the eye.

“Alright, I won’t. I promise not to do anything stupid.” I said, seeing her brighten up with a small smile before going back inside.

-Kirishima’s POV-

I couldn’t tell what I felt at the moment, knowing that I had slept through the kidnapping of Kat and I’s child was making me angry but also sad. Kat was with his mother in her office, working to make a wanted poster for the girl who took them. I was sitting in the garden, in the clearing I had slept in before the wedding. It seemed like so long ago, even if it was barely a month ago when it happened. I tossed a stone into the creak, watching it sink and float downstream for a bit. There was a rustling nearby before the Indigo-haired guy from the meeting came out of a bush nearby, his mate following behind him.

“There you are, guess all dragons prefer to be outside to think.” the blonde said with a bright smile.

“M-Mirio, now's not the time.” the dark haired male said, making the blonde pout.

“Come on Tama, I’m only trying to lighten the mood. Either way, how are you hanging in there bud?” he asked, sitting across from me.

“I couldn’t stop her from taking possibly our only child, how do you think I feel?” I snapped, seeing him flinch slightly before I sighed.

“That would be rough, but even from my brief interactions with them, I can tell that Katsuki and his mother won’t stop until your guy's kid is home safe.” he stated, the darker haired male sitting next to me.

“I just wish I could’ve done more to help.” I stated, hearing my voice crack as everything got blurrier.

“The drugs that she gave you guys should’ve killed you, I’d consider the fact you survived your chance to fix that. Plus we’d be happy to head back to the dragonlands and call for aid if you’d like?” Mirio offered, making me look up at him.

I didn’t say anything, but I could tell he knew what I was thinking. With a serious face he nodded and got up, heading back in the direction of the castle. Tamaki was still out here with me, seated carefully on a rock nearby that I failed to notice before. I looked over to him, getting a kind smile from him as he started to rub my back comfortingly. He turned to look at the creek with me, a calmness falling over the area.

“W-would you like to know something?” he asked, getting my attention.

“Sure.” I replied quietly.

“M-Mirio and I had two children once, it wasn’t easy taking care of them as eggs.” he said, making me glance at him.

“What happened to them?” I asked, curious.

“O-one of them got too cold, and the other was stolen. W-We almost had them back when the thief smashed the egg on the ground.” he answered, looking sad.

“What happened to the thief?” I questioned, angry that something like that happened to him.

“Mirio a-ate him as soon as the egg touched the ground.” he stuttered out.

“So they got what they deserved?” I asked, watching him turn to look at me.

“N-no, they deserved worse. Because of t-them we were away from our other child too long and they got too cold.” he answered, a sad smile on his face.

“So why did you tell me this?” I inquired, confused as to why he’d tell me this.

“So you knew y-you weren’t alone. If you need a-anything you can always ask us.” he answered kindly.

“Thank you, I would just like them back. I don’t want to lose them.” I stated, seeing him nod.

“I c-can understand that. Come inside though, from the l-look of things Katsuki needs you too.” he said, getting up to leave.

I turned back to the creek, watching the water pass calmly by for a bit. After sitting there for a few minutes I finally got up and headed back inside, already sensing the stress Kat was under. Making my way up to our room I could tell everyone was on edge, even the maids. This made a bit of sense since the queen had gone digging around everywhere and interrogated almost every staff member about things.

I stopped outside the door, hearing a soft sound inside. I leaned closer to the door and froze, crying, that was the sound behind the door. I went into the room slowly, everything still the same as the other day, untouched. I closed and locked the door, knowing that Kat wouldn’t want anyone coming in. Making my way further into the room I could hear the crying coming from the closet and headed over to the door. It was slightly cracked open so I went in, and the sight I saw broke my heart.

There on the ground in the corner Kat was sitting and crying into a pillow. He was trying to keep his cries quiet but I guess cause I’m a dragon I heard them clearly. Before I knew it I was kneeling next to him, pulling him over into my arms. He didn’t say anything and let go of the pillow, turning to hold onto me. I stroked his hair as he cried against my chest, clinging to my shirt like his life depended on it.

We sat there for what felt like hours, but I wasn’t going to complain. At one point he had fallen asleep from crying and was now resting against me with the occasional hiccup. I kept rubbing his back gently so as to not wake him as I sat there holding him. I could tell he was under stress before this happened, but I didn’t know how to help him.

-Denki’s POV-

I was helping Shinsou to investigate the missing maids room, though there wasn’t much more than a bed and an empty dresser. She must not have had anything, I bent down to look under the bed as Shinsou walked out to go talk to a neighboring maid. I had to make a small ball of light so I could see under the bed, finding a small box in the far corner. I carefully grabbed it, dragging it out from under the bed.

“What do you have there, kitten?” Shinsou asked, making me jump.

“Jeez, Hitoshi don’t do that. Anyways I found a box under the bed so I was gonna open it.” I responded, seeing him nod as he leaned on the door frame.

Turning back to the box I carefully opened it, found a stack of letters and open envelopes. I glanced at one of the broken seals and froze. I could hear Shinsou come closer and bend to see what I was looking at. There on the envelope was the seal of the Todoroki family, meaning that any one of the kids in that family were now suspects. I turned to look at Shinsou seeing him staring at the seal with a look of anger on his face.

“Shin, I know one of those kids. He wouldn’t do something like this, that leaves three others.” I said as he turned to look at me.

“As of right now, they’re all suspects. Until proven otherwise they are all guilty.” he said, making me back up slightly at the glare in his eye.

“What are we going to tell Kiri?” I asked, scared of how the dragon would react knowing his savior might have taken his kid.
