-Feeling nice, enjoy an extra chapter-
-Bakugou's POV-
My head was pounding as I opened my eyes, a dark room welcoming me. The physician was sitting at her desk, a candle burning beside her being the only light in the room. I looked around, seeing a bush of blonde hair next to my hand on the bed. My mom was there, sitting in a chair, asleep. I gently moved my hand, though it was a hard task at first. Most of my body felt numb, cold even, but I just ignored it. When I finally tugged on her hair as hard as I could, which wasn't much, she woke up and looked up at me before jolting up.
"Katsuki, you're ok!" she yelled, making me wince at her volume.
"Is he awake?" the physician asked, looking up at us.
"Ya, I'm up." I said, though my voice was rough enough to make both of them cringe slightly.
"How are you feeling your highness?" the old lady asked, waddling over and pulling my blanket down a bit to check something.
"Cold and numb mostly. Where's Kiri?" I asked, my voice starting to go back to normal.
"He's locked himself in your room. You've been out for almost a week and a half." my old hag said, making me look between her and the physician.
I slowly sat up, feeling sore and almost laying down again from the pounding in my head. The two of them tried to push me back down but I just shoved their hands off. I sat there for a second just to catch my breath before slowly standing up while holding my head and the wall. After a few seconds I was fine with the pounding decreasing to a steady beat. I looked at the mirror not too far from the bed to find a large section of my torso covered with bandages, making me remember the injury I had gotten.
"Katsuki, you shouldn't push yourself so soon." my old hag said, looking worried for once.
"I'm going to go see him, you can follow or not, your choice." I said, carefully making my way into the hall.
I could hear my mother sigh and start following me as I made my way through the dark halls back to my room. It was very quiet inside, but there was a flickering light under the door. My mother said goodnight, seeing as I was at my door and there was someone in there to watch me. I waited for her to leave before knocking on the door, not getting an answer. I knocked again, still not getting an answer but hearing a slight shuffle on the other side of the door.
"Kiri?" I called, leaning on the door frame feeling a bit tired.
"Kiri it's Kat, let me in please." I said, resting my head on the door.
I jerked my head up when the door was swung open by a familiar redhead. I didn't have the energy to stand up straight but I could tell by the look in his eye, he was just happy I was there. He carefully picked me up before closing and locking the door behind us. Carrying me over to a mound of blankets and pillows as I noticed how much he's changed. He was a little thinner than before, dark circles under his eyes, along with tear stained cheeks that made me sad.
He held me close as we laid down in the mound of stuff, me on my back and him laying on my stomach and legs. We weren't too far from the fireplace so it was nice and warm. I gently played with his hair and hummed as he laid on me. It was only after a wet spot was felt on my stomach that I realized he was crying. I shushed him gently while brushing through his hair with my fingers, massaging his scalp as gently as I could. We laid there for who knows how long with me comforting him as he sobbed against my stomach.
"I thought I was going to lose you." he cried against me.
"I'd never leave you here alone, I promise." I said gently, tugging his hair carefully.
