Daycare P2

You were back again, at the day care only some months later. And you couldn't keep still the whole time going to the day care lobby. Your parent kept telling you to keep still but you were just so excited, how could you not keep still?

"Am I going in yet, am I going in yet, am I going in yet?"

Your parent huffed, annoyed.

"Yes, yes, you got a slot to go in in the next 5 minutes love"

Squealing you hugged the Sundrop plushie you were given the last time you were here; it was a bit damp from the rain earlier, you didn't care.

"Next group for daycare" one of the employees say and once again points to the slide leading down to the ball pit. Without hesitation you slid down without saying "I love you" or "goodbye" to your parent.

Children slid one by one down into the ball pit and made their way towards Sundrop who was patiently standing on one of the play mats.

Sundrop went through the same chanting of rules the last time you were there. As he finished the children went around and started playing immediately. Some even knocked over Sundrops towers which made him flinch.

Sundrop caught you by his feet and bent down to look at you eye to eye.

"What's your name sunshine?" he asked.

You stumbled upon your words,

'Sun doesn't recognise me?'

"Don't you remember me sun?"

You ask. Sundrop looks at you, his mechanics whirring.

"Let me look in my memory database"

...

"Scanning face"

"Oh, Y/N! Good to see you again little one"

You jumped in excitement and were listed up into the air by Sundrop.

"Want to go and have some fun on the slides?" Sundrop asks, looking up at you.

"Yes, yes yes!"

He took you over to one of the big slides you were too scared to go on last time. And you slid down like a champion.

Sundrop was pleased, he remembered that you were terrified last time.

"Your not scared any more Y/N, that's excellent!"

Once you spent ages on the slide, you went over to the drawing table. Sundrop had to go and accompany other kids playing.

"I'll come back in a minute sunshine!" he said before walking off to the ball pit.

You drew Moon and Sun next to each other. The outlines were done, you were going to colour it in.

"I want to sit down" a squeaky voice said next to you.

You looked at the child, it was a girl with makeup on and pink bows in her black hair. She did not look pleased.

"I'm sat here though" You mumble back, tightly holding onto your seat.

"I want to sit here!" The girl snaps back, and then pushed you onto the hard mat, you hit your face on the chair beside you.

You sat up in shock, the girl was picking up the seat and placing it where you originally sat. However, Sun drop heard the commotion and saw what was going on.

"What happened here?" He whined, sharing looks between you and the black-haired girl.

"Y/N, you have a cut on your face and a bruise on your head!" Exclaimed Sun drop.

A boy who was also sat at the table spoke up.

"That girl pushed Y/N off h-her chair"

The girl in your chair looked down at you and then looked up at Sun drop who was not happy at all.

"You are BANNED from the day care young lady!" yelled Sun drop before taking the girl's arm. He walked towards the exit and yelled "Security Alert, security alert!." Indeed, security personnel came to take the girl to her mother.

You were still on the floor. You did not have the faintest clue how to react.

"Oh, dear Y/N, let's go get you patched up..."

Sun drop picked you up and sat him on his bent arm to hold you up. He held you with his over hand, just like the last time you were there.

You were sitting down on a colourful foam brick whilst Sun drop called for first aid. A weird metal scrawny animatronic came in with a first aid box (endoskeleton, as seen in the game). Sundrop sat by you as the animatronic cleaned up your wound and put a big plaster over it, as well as an icepack for the bruise on your head. The animatronic walked away after and left you with Sun drop who was holding the icepack on your head for you.

"Can I have a hug?" you ask.

"Sure, you can sunshine!" Sundrop said, holding out his arms.

His metal casing was cold on your face, but you didn't really care.

After a while, Sundrop picked you up and held you once again.

"Before you sleep, want to drink fizzy Fazz and use some glitter glue?!" Sundrop said excitedly.

"Glitter glue?" you questioned.

"GLITTER GLUE Y/N!" Sundrop called out, spinning you around.

You giggled and nodded your head. And off you went.

"We can create glitter glue giraffes... we can make glitter glue signs, posters, dolls, you name it Y/N!"
