Hide and Seek

"Here I come!" you hear Jeremy shout at the top of his lungs.

You Cassidy, Fritz, Susie, Chris and Jeremy are playing hide and seek at the Pizzaplex entrance. You decide to hide behind the golden Freddy statue. It would be impossible for them to find you there straight away.

"Found you Cassidy!" You can hear a few meters away.

'Cassidy has been found, great'

A moment later Cassidy yelled "Found you Fritz!"

'They are getting closer...' you think.

It takes a few minutes for them to figure out where Susie and Chris were, and they were both found a couple feet away from you. It goes silent, picking up only their footsteps, you know that you will be found soon.

There's a cleaning cupboard just on the right hand side of the hall, so you try to run quietly without making much noise. Cassidy and the others were over on the other side of the hall, they didn't see you thankfully.

"Vanessa, your job tonight is to..." Whispered a raspy voice just behind you, however behind a second door. Feeling curious, you prop your ear up against the door wanting to listen to the conversation.

"Get some children and bring them here, I want five dead. Tonight"

The heart beating inside you stopped and your ears rung, loud and painful, your head spins. This was all happening way too fast.

'Ch-children, five dead, this is a joke, this has to be a joke...'

'Right?'

The conversation stopped, you panicked and head into a locker situated in the room. The metal door creaked open slightly so you can peak at what's to come.

"Urgh, I could've sworn I heard a child behind here..."

The figure is fleshy and had some metallic structure like a robot, however organic. The thing has a rusted and rotten yellow metal body. You don't dare to look at the head.

"Just, leave the child-seeking to me, ok William?" A woman's voice sounds from behind him. A blurred view of a figure dressed in a rabbit costume peeps from out of the door and closes the door behind her.

You let out a loud exasperated sigh and rush out of the cleaning cupboard/room. Cassidy, Fritz, Susie, Chris and Jeremy see you walking out of the room and call out.

"You won Y/N, we couldn't find you at all!" explained Susie, over exaggerating her hand actions.

"Yep, yep yep!" You say panicked.

"Come on, we need to go to El chips don't we, our parents will be there sooon-"

The five of them go silent for a bit, questioning in their minds why you were acting so panicky and strange. But dusted it off and followed after you into the main hall and up the escalator stairs. You say nothing the whole way.

You know now that 5 children will go missing tonight.
