Sans AU Oneshots [Requests Closed]

Trigger Warning: Blood|"Hush now..little guardian.." [Short Story|Swap Angst]

A/N: This oneshot is based off of the art above. It's kind of messy, but I wanted to post this.

     Swap fell onto the floor, shaking and breathing heavy. Blood spilled across his body, almost as heavily as his tears, kneeling to pick up the nearly shattered crown of his teammate. He dusted it off a little, sniffling as his thumb rubbed against the blood dripping Dian the side of the gold in his hands.

Out of the corner of his eye, something gently caressed his cheek, a low, calm voice saying,
"Hush now.." It began, the slimy substance trailing over his jawline as a dark figure stepped closer.

"..Little guardian..."

As wind blew, a grey dust flew throughout the air, leaving the figure alone.

"There was nothing else you needed to do.."

The figures teal eyelight softened at the sight, a pile of grey dust appearing where the small blue guardian once did. He chuckled softly, retracting his appendage and smiling.

"You did good, Little guardian..

You never gave up.."
