"Uh, Eli?" Kendall squeaked, covering her eyes. "A-are you sure this game is safe?"
Eli chuckled reassuringly. "Of course it's safe. This is just a cutscene."
"A cutscene doesn't flash that bright!" Kendall grabbed a cushion to block the light. "Quick! Do something! Turn it off!"
"Oh, for-" Eli stopped in his tracks as a slow tingling sensation began in his fingertips and worked its way through his veins. His grip loosened on his Xbox. His vision blurred.
"Uh..." He was unaware of the fact that he just spoke. "I don't think this feeling is normaaaaAAAAAA-"
A final blinding flash, and it was too late for any more words.
