His scythe came down and the last SOUL was finally reaped. The process was quick and silent, no sound had been made in the act. With that done, he turned around and decided to shortcut home to save time. There were a lot more SOULS today then there were the last few times, but he was able to handle it, he was a God of Death/Grim Reaper after all and it was his job. Upon arriving, he went inside and was greeted with an empty and silent house. Good, that meant he could sleep for a while. He layed down on the couch and started to drift off.

It had been a while since he last visited Life, maybe after this he should go to her and chat for a bit. Ever since they started hanging out they became good friends and she actually started to enjoy his company. Their first encounter wasn't exactly the best- he accidentally found her and she kept trying to burn and drive him away for killing the things around then. Fortunately, they didn't kill each other and he was able to enjoy his nap- but they worked it out and slowly became pretty good friends. Of course, they're only ever going to be friends and that's how it'll always be. Not that he minded though. He didn't have any sort of romantic interest in her and vice versa. She still loved Asgore- the King of the Gods and her former husband- no matter how much she says she doesn't and the other obviously loves her as well. Besides there was only one guy he had an interest in but he didn't seem to reciprocate his feelings. Really, he always seemed to be annoyed whenever he visited him. Maybe it because he was too clingy? He guessed he did have a tendency to get like that, especially when it comes to another living being that won't die from his touch. But that couldn't be it, could it?... That's probably it. At any rate, it doesn't seem like there'll be any sort of romantic- or positive- relationship between them any time soon.

"BROTHER ARE YOU THERE?!"

He sighed and lazily replied, "I'm here Paps, I'm here."

Papyrus was his brother, another God of Death. He was a tall skeleton with a brown cloak that covered his body- not that he had one- and a red scarf that always billowed in the sometimes non-existent wind. Opening an eye, he saw that his brother was stomping towards him with his own scythe strapped on his back.

"SANS! HAVE YOU FINISHED YOUR LAST BATCH OF SOULS ALREADY?!" Papyrus asks.

"Yeah Paps," he replied with a lazy grin "I'm all done, just taking a bit of a break."

"GOOD, BECAUSE YOU HAVE ANOTHER BATCH THAT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF!"

"Awww, come on Paps, I just got here."

His brother sighed, "I KNOW THAT IT'S TIRING BROTHER, BUT WE HAVE TO FULFILL OUR DUTIES! WE'VE BEEN GIVEN A VERY BIG RESPONSIBILITY BY HIS MAJESTY AND WE-"

"-Should be responsible gods by completing the tasks assigned to us, I know Paps. I'll do my next batch soon, I just need to rest for a little while."

His brother nodded before leaving, saying that he had to finish his next batch as well. The shorter god layed there for a while longer, not moving an inch.

"Well," he sighed as he got up "time to go."

He looked at his next batch and was quite surprised to find that it was another Multiversal reaping. Sometimes, he thought his brother was lucky. Papyrus never had to do any Multiversal reapings, he was always the one that was stuck with them for some reason. It looks like he'll have to go to UnderTale #121, OceanTale #16, DustTale #20, UndyneTale #5, MafiaTale #104, UnderFell #95 NewTale #3, AlterTale #7, FruitTale #34, Dreamta-

He stopped reading and squinted his eyesockets(?), looking at the name written on the paper very closely. DreamTale? What universe was that? Was it a new one? Because as far as he knew, there was no such universe as DreamTale. Ink and Dream never mentioned an AU like that in any of the meetings he was in at least. Honestly, he didn't really enjoy the meetings all that much. Ink and Dream just babbled on and on about plans to destroy a glitch as well as other stuff that involved the Multiverse, mostly the former though he never bothered to actually listen for too long. Error was the Sans' name and apparently he can destroy universes, not just world's, but entire universes. He could definitely see why that's an important issue, but he couldn't help but feel as if something's... off. Don't get him wrong, he hates the destruction as much as anyone especially since it increased his workload by a skeleTON, but something just didn't seem right to him. He's never actually met Error in person, only ever observing him from afar, but he had a general idea of who he was.
