"Hey Geno~"

"Ugh, not you again."

Reaper chuckled as he approached Geno's form and sat down beside him, the portal closing behind him. He turned his head to gaze at Geno, a small smile on his face as he took in the sight of the glitching skeleton. The other just ignored his presence and looked at his hands instead. The two stayed like that for a while. They didn't know how long as time wasn't relevant in the Save Screen. Reaper kept looking at Geno, then smirked. Should he flirt with him? Yeah, why not.

"Oh Geno~"

There was no response from the other skeleton.

"Geno~"

Nothing.

"I know you can hear me, Geno~."

There was still no reply, but it didn't bother Reaper. Reaching out, he attempted to gently grasp Geno's hand.

"C'mon Geno-"

"Will you just shut up already?! You are so damn annoying I can't stand you!"

Reaper flinched at the sudden yell and felt Geno move his hand away. Geno looked away from him and muttered under his breath, not noticing the look on the others' faces.

The yell had shocked him; not because it was sudden or loud, but because it hit him harder than he thought it would. Sure, the other has said something like that more times than he could count, but this time, he actually stopped to think about it. Every time he tried to flirt with the other, it had only ever led to being ignored or yelled at. He understood that it was annoying, but it still hurt him. Reaper really loved and cared for the other with his SOUL. The moment he found out he could touch him without dying, he did everything he could to spend as much time with him as possible. At first, it was to get to know him and become friends- they had gone off to a terrible start after all- but over time, it grew into something more than that.

He had fallen in love with Geno.

Whenever they hung out, he would always feel the butterflies fluttering in his non-existent stomach. He felt more confident and secure about himself, something he doesn't often feel around others. When it came to other people, even other versions of himself, he would usually stay in the corner and away from them while the others also steered clear of him. He couldn't blame them with his death touch and all, but that didn't mean he felt good about it. It caused him to sometimes come off as awkward and rude since he's never had proper social interaction.

With Geno, he felt as if he was a different and better skeleton. His feelings for the other made him DETERMINED to get Geno to like him back. Sure the other would often yell at him but that's only when he annoys the other, at those moments he'd hide the fact that he didn't realize it by making it seem as if it was on purpose. Even though he could touch Geno, that didn't mean he was suddenly well versed in the art of social interaction. The undead skeleton also acted cold sometimes and acted like he didn't want him there even though it looked like it was the opposite. Reaper still isn't too sure about it. He thought that maybe it's because Geno was a Tsundere- from what he's seen of them- so he just kept at it, hoping that maybe he'd one day be able to get through to him or even just acknowledge him without too much negativity. Was he wrong, though?

Did Geno actually hate him and only tolerated his presence?

The moment he thought that, he felt a small prick in his SOUL. That was odd. Lifting a skeletal hand over his chest, he tried to rub that area gently in an attempt to ease it slightly. He couldn't stop thinking about it, though, as his thoughts usually drifted to the one beside him, so it was hard to think about something else. Especially with the realization he was coming to. He wasn't sure if he was right or if it was just his negative thoughts getting to him, but he could check right now, couldn't he? Geno was right beside him, after all.
