A heart that will race

Oh so beautiful you are,

you joyful painted sky,

alluring relentless colours above,

oh so beautiful you are,

light dangling down,

into my once weeping eyes,

a magical kingdom at dawn,

I ran to you,

when the blinding colours whispered and called,

like the purest sweets luring a child abode,

a sight that to me must be seen,

that caused my cheap poetic heart to scream,

I no longer felt the once lethal winter breeze,

because you, a mere sunset,

were finally seen ♡
