<Childhood Cherry Blossoms

Pink blossoms litter the ground

as I near the winsome tree

It shudders and reminded me

that I never stand one man.

I sit in the comforting grass,

as colours flutter and dance,

and the light floats down,

apon your body

like a warm weighted blanket

hiding you away from cynical factors seen in such life.

What will happen next,

is like the roll of your dice,

so I sat in the moment, by my single orchid tree

while consulting with my anxieties.

This poem is dedicated to the cherry blossom tree that grew in my childhood home's backyard.  Not only was it gorgeous, but it also helped me through so many hard times just by being there.
