They were still sitting in the van. Though it had only been a day, staying in one spot for fifteen hours got old. Waking up at 7AM leading up to 9PM in the night.

It was dark out by now and maybe Feliks would've felt tired, but forty-five years of desperate survival and service to a glorified assassin's agency tended to dial insomnia up to 101% and three shots of paranoia.

Five was still watching the clinic, though less tense than he was when the day began. He was sitting back in the driver's seat, looking more like he was admiring the scenery than waiting out a target. The slump in his shoulders and the loose space between his brows were tells giving away his exhaustion.

Feliks returned to the passenger's seat when Luther left and had Delores snoozing away on his lap, snoring up a storm. He could hear her mumble vague threats of snatching wigs and 'yo girl' in her sleep and smiled, running his palm softly over her scalp.

On the street outside of Meritech, a cab drove by at the same time a biker zoomed past, causing the cab to honk irritably.

Delores woke with a loud snore, mumbling. Th'fuck, who the hell-

"Is just a car, staryy drug. Go back to sleep." Feliks hurried to soothe her. Regular Delores was already bad enough, but if she was feeling cranky no one was going to be safe.

No, no, Delores bitched. I'm already up, never to go to sleep again. That mothafucka better pray this bitch Delores don't get to his throat!

Feliks sighed and looked to Five for help, only getting an evasive shrug in return. He didn't want to deal with Delores, which Feliks understood, but he was also offended that his husband wouldn't take his part of the boulder that is Passive AND Aggressive Delores.

We're still at this dump? Delores asked, looking around to the unchanged scene that she had fallen asleep to. Boy, you do realize we don't got time for this shady ass bullshit of stalking some rando, right? We don't even got a week, hoe. She told Five, who gripped the driving wheel with narrowed eyes.

"You know, you don't have to tell me that." Five replied with gritted teeth. "I know there are only six days left."

Mhmmmm, and what's the point of wastin' one of 'em sitting here for a weird eyeball stroker to come outta the Build A Human?

"You got a better plan?" Five snapped, raising an eyebrow challengingly to the woman. Feliks sent him a warning look, they didn't need Delores going full-on berserker mode because Five had managed to piss her off. He was definitely on his own then, 40 years of matrimony be damned.

Boy, I don't even got legs. How am I s'posed to have a plan? Delores retorted, rolling her eyes.

"Okay then, that's what I thought." Five scoffed.

As he was counting the nearby fire hydrants lazily, Feliks suddenly perked up as he heard some footsteps in the building. They were relatively far away from the front entrance, the pace was faint but discernible. He ignored his Lyubov's squabble with Delores and leaned forward, observing the front doors with his natural night vision. It wasn't as strong as an animal's, but he still had a better amount than the average human.

"Fi!" He gasped, shaking the boy's arm. Five and Delores both paused in their bickering, giving him questioning looks. Feliks answered by pointing at the illuminated doors where a familiar man was exiting through.

Five smirked, "There's our guy."

Feliks gave Delores free reign of his seat and shifted into a bunny again, sitting on Five's lap so he could see the rather shady proceedings happening just across the street from them. The doctor looked around in the darkened parking lot, seeming nervous. The man's eyes caught onto a car slowly approaching and strode up to meet it. He leaned down into the window and briefly spoke to whoever the driver was before depositing a mysterious parcel into the vehicle. The car pulled away, leaving the doctor to anxiously straighten his tie and start walking down the sidewalk and away from the presently illegal proceedings.
