Emilia had hoped for many years that Bruno would find his way back home. She also often imagined what it would be like if ,or when, he ever did.

Emilia had not imagined it to happen quite like this; in the walls of Casita, but when did things ever go as planned?

Emilia flickered her gaze between Bruno and her triplets, none of them sure how to proceed in this unique situation.

Mirabel, being the helpful soul that she is, decided to urge things along. She took her uncle's hand and led him over to the triplets.

"Tío Bruno, this is Pedro, Matheo, and Rosa" Mirabel told Bruno.

The children's expressions were a mix of nervousness and excitement; Rosa even shyly gave him a tiny wave. Of course they had seen pictures of their father (not to mention the painting in the town square), and had heard much about him from Emilia, but it was different than actually seeing him in person.

Bruno had his own worries. Would they accept him? Could he be a good father? Sure he had his reasons for leaving, but that didn't exactly erase the fact that he hadn't been present the last few years.

Naturally, they were all a little hesitant and unsure.

Bruno looked over his shoulder at Emilia. She sent him an encouraging smile as she gestured for him to go on.

"Wow, heh, this is uh-" Bruno stuttered.

Rosa heard something in Bruno's thoughts at that moment, instantly setting her at ease.

He stopped speaking when Rosa ran straight to him and squeezed him tightly. Following their sister's lead, Pedro and Matheo sprinted towards Bruno and practically tackled him in a hug. For a brief moment, Bruno was frozen in place until the feeling of being startled wore off; he then enthusiastically returned the embrace, near tears. Emilia watched the scene with joy.

Mirabel, still trying to help out, lightly pushed her aunt towards Bruno and the triplets. Emilia laughed as Bruno pulled her into the group hug.

They were finally together after all those years.

Bruno had never in his time in the walls imagined that he would one day get to just be with his family like this.

"Our family needs help, and you need to get outta here" Mirabel told Bruno.

He, for just a second, appeared as though he was going to object. However, he then looked at Emilia, Rosa, Matheo, and Pedro. They were enough reason for him to get out, but then he also saw his rats cleaning themselves with his toothbrushes.

"Meh." he said in agreement.
...

"You and Emilia should have told me the second you saw the vision. Think of the family!" Alma said to Agustín.

No one could find Emilia or Mirabel. Where were they?

"I was thinking of my daughter!" Agustín responded firmly, standing up to Alma.

A light flurry began within the room, bringing a slight chill with it.

Irritated and already stressed, Alma turned towards where Pepa was sitting on the staircase.

"Pepa, calm down" Alma demanded.

Pepa, just like Agustín, snapped back at Alma.

"I'm doing my best!-"

"Yes" Félix agreed with his wife.

Félix tried to wave away the cloud that was causing what was now a mini blizzard. The wind blew his hat away.
