I know i haven't updated in a while and i apologize completely but i do have a good reason. At the moment I'm trying to get Love and Basketball finished and i have been focusing so much on editing i forgot to write but now i have have a better schedule (and a substitute teacher on Wednesday) so I will be back on my once a week, hopefully more, schedule. Sorry once again

Danae's POV

"Candy"

"Check"

"Sleeping bag"

"Check" I said rolling my eyes towards JJ

"Looks like we have everything" JJ says before plopping down onto the couch

"I guess so, so how does it feel to be old"

"i'm not old mom" He whines

"you are" i stick my tongue out at him before kissing his forehead and going upstairs .

"I don't want her in my house" I hear Taylah yell

"Your house, this is my house" Jermaine says

Damn that must've hurt to hear

"you know what Jermaine, forget it, you let her come into this house and destroy everything we have together" I could hear her storming out and right as she opened the door Jermaine closed it and pushed her against the door. I remember when he did that to me.

"baby look, I love you but i need to be in my sons life. Please understand. I can't live without you" He placed his forehead on hers and i saw her face light up

"alright baby you convinced me" He kissed her passionately and thats when i realized it was time for me to walk away. As i was about to go into the kitchen the doorbell rang. Looks like the guest are here.

"Well baby i gotta meeting so i'll see you later" Taylah hugged Jermaine before opening the door. As the door swung open, JJ's best friend slipped and spilled his juice all over her.

"Jermaine!" she yelled

"I-I am s-s-s-so sorry ma'am"

"Get outta my face" she growled towards the kid

"Hey Derreck" I say and he physically calms down 

"Hey Miss. Watts" He gives me a hug and i give him directions on where to put his gift and where JJ was waiting. He thanked me and quickly left the room. As time went on more and more guest came and before i knew it, everyone was here and you could hear the kids screaming from the scary movie. This will be a long night.

JJ's POV (Jermaine Jr) 

"Man this movie is boring" Kamar, the most popular kid in the whole first grade class, said

"No it's not, it's really scary" Marriah, my crush since kindergarden, said getting mad

"This movie is for babies"

"Is not" She argues

"Is too"

"Is not"

"Is too" Before i know it, it's the guys against the girls and Daniella and I were the only ones not saying anything

"Isn't it a baby movie" Kamar asked me

"umm, its uh" I stumbled on my words while Marriah and Kamar gave me death glares. I looked at Daniella and she mouthed 'It isn't a baby movie'

"Well Kamar your wrong, it isn't a baby movie and if you keep being mean imma have to ask you to leave"

"man whatever" he shrugged me off before continuing to watch the movie. Marriah smiled at me and we continued watching the movie.

"Happy Birthday JJ!" Everyone yelled. I looked around smiling and saw my daddy staring at my mommy and his sid- Fiancee thing glaring at my mommy.

"Make a wish honey" My mom told me. I took a deep breath before closing my eyes and saying the wish. I wish my mommy and daddy get married. I blew out my candles and everyone clapped. Today was fun.

Naomi's POV

"You ready for this" I ask Jamar making sure my suit was straight

"yeah i guess, but if i lose my daughter"

"You won't lose her, and as soon as you start talking like that you will" He shook his head agreeing with me before taking a sigh

"Thanks Naomi, for doing this"

"Anytime, well looks like this is us" I smiled as we walked in and shook hands with the other lawyer.

"Mrs. Watts"

"Mr. Foxx"

"All stand for the honorable judge" the ballif yelled. We stood silently and waited for the judge to enter the courtroom.

"You may be seated" We sat and i caught Jamar looking at Candace with pure disgust. Too bad he picked her over me.

Jamar's POV

I can't believe she actually showed up. She's ruined my life as well as my daughters and now she wants to show up. I just hope we win this case even though I didn't tell Naomi everything. But with the way paparazzi has been everywhere I haven't had the chance. I turned my focus to Naomi and man did she look good. I mean, real good. Her black Armani suit clung to her body showing every curve and a lot of cleavage. I bit my lip a bit before focusing on the judge.

"Your honor today we are here to show you that Mr. Jamar Kingston isn't responsible enough to take care of a baby and live the high life style of a musician"

"You honor that is pure foolishness. Some of the greatest artist do it, like Brandy for instance. Brandy is a model, actress, singer, and an amazing mother to her child"

"Exactly your honor, a mother, she's a woman they're created to care children"

"Your honor I object. He's making a sexist comment towards my client"

"Sustained. Mr. Foxx watch yourself. But I have made my decision. We will be taking this to court. Be here tomorrow 10am sharp. Case dismissed" He hit his gavel a and I mentally thanked god. At least now I have a chance.

Candace's POV

What!!!! He's not supposed to even get this far. Looks like I gotta step up my game.

Tracy (Jermaines mom) POV

I can't keep doing this. This lying and deceiving is killing me.

"David honey I need to tell you somethinf" David closes his Newspaper and sits it on his lap

"What's going on?"

"I need your complete attention when I say this"

"Alright Tracy you have it, what's up?"

"Well, Jermaine isn't your son"
