Chapter 17

Sky's POV

"Alright time to clean up everyone" Ms. Booker yelled before the everyone started cleaning up the mess they made. I finished first since I didn't have a big mess and sat on the carpet in front of Ms. Booker and waiting quietly till I felt someone tap me. I turned to face the person and crossed my arms when I saw Reggie.

"What's up sweet thang?" He says and i roll my eyes

"Reggie go away"

"But i can't leave my girlfriend by herself"

"Girlfriend? Ha you wish" I respond before placing both hands on my hips.

"Alright settle down kids" I turned my attention back to Ms. Booker and listened to her speak. "So what should we play next?"

"Ooooh let's play house" my friend Kimberly shouts and Ms. Booker gives her a look and she puts her hand up.

"Yes Kimberly?"

"Can we play house?"

"Sounds like a good idea to me, what do you guys think?" The class nodded and she smiled before saying we could pick our own partners and letting us go free. Before i had the chance to choose, Reggie grabbed my hand and dragged me to the closest kitchen set.

"So your going to be my wife"

"Who said I wanted to marry you, big head"

"I did and besides everyone already has a partner so you have to" I looked around and unfortunately he was right.

"Fine." I grabbed the doll that was sitting on the chair and handed her to him. "You watch Crystal while I go to work"

"You have to watch the kids while I go to work" he says and I cross my arms

"Why do I have to watch her?"

"Cause your a girl, that's your job. You cook and clean while I go and work"

"Nuh uh"

"Yeah, that's what my mommy does"

"Well my soon to be mommy doesn't"

"Soon to be mommy? Who's that" I used my finger to tell him to come closer and he walked over hesitantly.

"You promise to keep this on the down low" he nodded and I looked around making sure no one was looking "Ms. Bookers going to be my mommy"
"No way"

"Yup"

"That's not fair. Can she be my mommy too?"

"Nope, she's only mine and she works which means watch the baby." I say before he shoots me a glare and goes to our kitchen.

"Alright kids it's time for recess" Ms. Booker yelled and we all ran to the door happy that it was time to play outside.

"Hey, hey, one at a time or I'm not opening this door" she says placing a hand on her hip and we stand in a straight line before she unlocks the door and let's us out. I love recess.

Liah's POV

I picked up the toys that were scattered all over the floor and put them away before someone cleared their throat. Standing up, I turned around to see an unfamiliar face.

"Hi"

"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt you but I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Taevon Harrison, we'll Mr. Harrison from the third floor. I teach math." He says and I nod before wiping off my hands with a paper towel.

"I'm Liana Booker but just call me Liah, I teach kindergarten"

"Nice to meet you Liah, your very beautiful" he says taking a step closer and I smile politely but didn't feel anything towards him. I mean he was handsome but Taylen was just drop dead sexy. The bell rang interrupting the awkward silence between us two and he cursed under his breath before sending me a sorry look.
