Chapter 26

Liah's POV

"Mommy wake up!" I heard a soft voice say and I turned to the other side. "Mommy" whoever it was shook me until I got fed up and opened my eyes. Sky sat there with her legs folded and I sat up yawning ignoring the pain between my legs.

"Hey pretty girl" she smiled at the nickname I gave her

"Daddy said not to wake you up but I couldn't help it" I nodded and Taylen's head emerged from the door.

"Baby girl give me a minute with Miss Liah"

"Okay daddy bye mommy" she gave me a hug before jumping off the bed and running off. Did she just call me... Taylen entered shirtless and with his basketball shorts ridding low on his waist letting whatever train of thought I had before slip my mind. He sat beside me wrapping his arms around my waist before giving me his million dollar smile. 

"Hey beautiful"

"Hey handsome"  

"You hungry?"

"A little, you?"

"Yeah but i'm not hungry for food" It took me a minute to realize what he meant and I shook my head no and ignoring the pain between my legs I crawled away from him. I heard him laughing but I just flipped him off before finally getting off the bed and standing. My legs felt unstable like it was my first time using  them. 

"Taylen I need help" he chuckled before lifting me and bringing me into the bathroom. He sat me on the toilet as he ran me a bath before stripping me down and helping me get in. The smooth jets of his tub hit me and a moan escaped my lips from how good they felt. He cleared his throat and told me to call him when I was finished before hurrying out. I laid back and enjoyed the feel of relaxing before using a washcloth to wash off my body. The sweet scent of Dove was left as I called out for Taylen. He entered the bathroom with a towel and some clothes before helping me out, grabbing my ass and running out before I could cuss him. Taylen will be the death of me.

"Since when does Sky call me mommy?

"Um I don't know, does it bother you? I can get her to st--"

"No it's fine" I told him and he stopped ranting.

Mommy can we watch frozen?"

"Again Sky?" She gave me her puppy dog eyes and asked again knowing damn well I was going to agree "Fine but your making the popcorn this time"

"Yay!" She ran out of the room to go make the popcorn and I chuckled before taking a seat on the couch which Taylen did as well.

"I have a question that has been on my mind for a while"

"Okay, shoot"

"Who's Skylar's mom?" He pulled his lips in before taking a deep breath and pulling my legs onto his thighs. 

"Her mom was a one night stand and I didn't even know she was pregnant until I had to bring Jamaal to the hospital because after Jayla sucker punched him, he believed she broke his nose." I smiled remembering that day but let him continue. "Well I saw her and she admitted she was pregnant and was planning in giving Sky up but I couldn't do it. So I stayed with her during the rest of her pregnancy and once Sky was born she signed over her rights and was never to be seen again."

"I have the movie!" Sky yelled and a smile fell on his face. She put the movie in and set everything up before running to the couch and moving my legs before placing herself between us. The movie began and I felt myself running my fingers through her hair as she had deep concentration on what was going on.
