Chris POV

Before I know it's Friday, I have booked a little cabin for us, it's a couple hours drive and it's in the middle of no where. I'm so excited to spend the whole weekend with Sam.
I've just pulled up to her house and I see a man leaving, she kisses his cheek and they are smiling at each other. I get out of the car and see the man get in his car and drive.
I knock on the door and Sam open it
"Good morning handsome"
"Good morning. Who was that?"
"Oh that's Peter he works for me, we had a meeting this morning remember"
"Yeah. But I thought it was at the office not in your home where you are in your pjs"
"It was an early morning meeting and I didn't see the point in getting dressed. What's wrong?"
"Just a bit weird for a guy to be leaving your apartment and looking that happy I guess"
"Are you trying to accuse me of something chris?"
"I'm not accusing you of anything Sam it's just a bit weird"
"You know what get out!"
"What?"
"I'm not going to have you come here and accuse me of doing god knows what with someone else. I've done nothing wrong and If you can't trust me then this is never going to work"
"We are supposed to be going away"
"Should have thought about that before you came in here with your attitude"
"I don't have an attitude"
"Yes you do chris. I get your a big Hollywood star but it doesn't work on me. I will not be accused of anything. So leave"
I walk out and turn back to say sorry but she slams the door in my face. God I am such an idiot!
I sit in my car for a while thinking how I'm going to fix this. I'm such an idiot, I've been cheated on and used so much that I just expect it to happen now. I call my mum and explain what has happened
"Your an idiot chris, Sam is with you because of you not because your chris evans Hollywood actor. She wouldn't cheat on you"
"I know mum, I just let my jealousy get the better of me"
"Well get back in that house and grovel on your hands and knees if you need too. If you loose this girl I'll never forgive you"
I hang up from my mum and make my way back to the door, I knock and Sam opens it. I can tell she has been crying. I look at her sadly
"Sam, I'm so sorry"
She moves so I walk in, we walk into the kitchen and I stand there just looking at how sad she looks.
"Sam?"
She turns around and wipes away her tears
"What chris?"
"I'm sorry, I know you would never cheat on me. I just find it hard to trust people and I've been hurt so much I just expect it to happen"
"I've been hurt too chris more then you know but I don't automatically accuse you of anything. Your the one who kisses beautiful actresses as your job I should be the one who is insecure"
I walk towards her and cup her face "you have nothing to worry about"
"I know I don't. Chris I don't know what it is with us but I feel safe with you. I know you won't hurt me I just wish you could feel that way about me"
"I do Sam, I promise. I just let jealousy get the better of me sometimes"
She reaches up and puts her hand on the nape of my neck, she stares into my eyes.
"Christopher Robert Evans I've never felt this way about anyone before. We have an amazing connection and I want to see where this could go. But I need you to trust me okay"
"Okay"
She pulls me down to meet her lips and kisses me with so much emotion. I'm truly falling for this girl and it scares me.

After sorting ourselves out we get in the car and get ready to drive to the cabin.
"Please tell me where we are going"
"Nope. I've told you enough to help you pack I'm not telling you anything else"
"Meany"
I place my hand on her thigh and squeeze, she smiles and giggles.
We have a pleasant road trip, eating sweets, singing to the radio. She actually has a great voice. Then the one song that follows me everywhere comes on
Sam looks over at me "No way!!! Turn it up please!! You have to sing with me please!!!!"
I start laughing and singing

Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on, and on, and on
Strangers, waitin'
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows
Searchin' in the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win
Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on
Strangers waitin'
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows
Searchin' in the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight, people
Don't stop, believin'
Hold on
Streetlights, people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight, people

Once the song finishes she is laughing her head off.
"It's not that funny"
"But it's the best part of the movie, except for when your undressing and the lift opens and you ask the women 'liking the angle of the dangle" she bursts out laughing "it's the best!"
"Okay, stop quoting my movies to me you weirdo"
"We have to watch that movie please"
"No way! I don't like watching myself"
"Fine. I'll watch it by myself and just text you constantly through out the movie with quotes that Jensen says"
"Your so weird"
"A little"
We continue to have so much fun. We pull up to the cabin and sams eyes go wide.
"Chris this is beautiful"
"It really is. Come on"
We get out and I grab our bags before heading inside. This place is stunning and I can't wait to spend this weekend with Sam.
