Mikey's Pov:

Hanma was crouched down in front of me something that I wanted for years and didn't even realize it, I was seeing images of the things Kisaki did to everyone I cherished by the support of Hanma.

All the manipulation, all the deaths, all the people I lost.

Kisaki's death didn't make me feel better about it, I wanted to kill him with my bare hands, make him pay for every pain I felt.

But now I will make his friend pay for it all.
"You made the wrong choice coming here Hanma" I mumbled and was about to pull the trigger when I heard Koko shout.

"Mikey! Y/n got shot!"

My eyes widened and I looked at their direction to find her laying on the floor, her eyes close and there was a pool of blood under her body.

I dropped my gun and ran towards her to check her pulse, she still had pulse but it was weakening as time passed.
"Get her out of here and bring her to our hospital now!" I ordered the brothers and Koko and they carried her but as they were heading outside of the hall I heard a gunshot behind me.

I turned around and saw Hanma he was bleeding from his hand and there was a gun on the floor.

"Don't let your guard down Mikey, you could have died now!" I turned to where the voice was and saw Senju and beside her was Draken.

It was now that I realized everyone I knew in my whole life was here, I felt overwhelmed with mixed emotions, sadness, longing, anger and shame.

"I feel like this is an emotional reunion but.... We need to take care of this fucker first!" I heard the girl named Yuri say while grabbing Hanma, he looked unconscious, she probably knocked him down with her gun.

"Take him to the dungeon, I'll deal with him after I see y/n" I ordered and both Yuri and Sanzu dragged him away.

Unable to utter any word to the others I headed towards where y/n was taken, she is all I could care about at this moment.

one week later, Y/n's pov:

I woke up in a familiar room everything was white and it looked so peaceful, I looked around and saw different people there and they were all sleeping.

Mikey was sleeping on a chair by my bed, the trio were Sharing a couch and it didn't look very comfortable but kinda brought back memories from that time I got shot before, Kaku was sleeping on a chair next to that couch.

It all made me wonder how long did I lose consciousness.

"Oh you are awake!" Koko said as he got out of the balcony and got close to check on me "how are you feeling? Do I need to get the doctor for you?" He said softly so he won't wake the rest.

"I'm okay I guess, just awfully hungry" I smiled to assure him.
He grabbed a chair and sat close to my bed "well I'm not surprised, you were asleep for a whole week" he took out his phone "what do you want to eat? I'll get it for you".

I

told him what I wanted to eat and he called someone to bring the food, then we sat in silence till he broke it once again.

"What you did out there was crazy but also really brave" he said.
I looked at Ran who is still sleeping "My body just moved on it's own I couldn't just let him die" I couldn't let anyone of you die.
He nodded "I shouldn't have proposed this idea from the beginning".
"No, it was a good idea, crazy yes but it could have worked" then I remembered something important "Hanma! What happened to Hanma?!"
Koko was about to speak when someone else replied "he is in our dungeon, along with all his men who survived" I looked to my side and saw a sleepy looking Mikey, he leaned on my bed and caressed my cheek "how are you feeling now? Are you in any pain?" He asked worry laced in his voice.

Now that he asked I'm surprised that I don't feel anything, they probably gave me a lot of painkillers, I Shaked my head "no, I'm not feeling any pain"  I gave him an assuring smile and he seemed relieved by that.

"Okay the food is here! I'll be back in a minute" Koko said and exited the room.

Mikey held my hand which kinda surprised me and I looked back at him "thank you" he started "we wouldn't have survived this attack if it isn't for the help of your gang and you warning me".
My eyes watered at that, it was now that I actually realized the threat was over and everyone is alive, I held back his hand "thank you for believing me".

He pulled me to a hug that I needed for a long time, and for the first time in about a year I felt like I can finally relax.

"You don't have to worry anymore" Mikey mumbled.

After a while we pulled away and Mikey looked like he wanted to say something, I gave him a questioning look and he just sighed.

"I just, wasn't ready to see Draken just yet, let alone the others".
"Did you talk to them?"
He scratched his neck "no... I kinda ran away ... And have been hiding here since then, they came to visit you by the way, this was the only time I left this room".
I rubbed my forehead in desperation and scolded him "why would you do that?"
"I'm afraid okay, last time I met them wasn't exactly a nice meeting" he mumbled.
"That was years ago Mikey! I'm sure they forgot" I argued back "talk to them, you know what I'll call Draken now and tell him to come" I said while getting my phone.

Mikey panicked and took the phone out of my hand "no no! I'll talk to him... Just not now"
"Then when?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I don't know, I need to prepare myself first" he said looking anywhere but my eyes.

I smiled "okay, but this better happen soon!"

Then my face got back to being serious once again.

"And back to the topic of Hanma, I'll be the one who takes care of him"
