~// NINJAGO CITY //~
// Unknown //
A woman with short, raggedy hair sat on the edge of her bed, clutching her head. This went on numerous times during the day, coming out of nowhere, rendering her helpless to the world around her.
She breathed heavily, closing her eyes tight and pulling at her hair, desperately trying to overcome it as visions of the past, present and future rang out in front of her, as if she were looking out a window.
Despite the warnings of her mother, she didn't accept this power and try to learn from it. She dreaded it and tried to escape it. This drove her mad, and to the edge of insanity.
She tried to push the visions away, to refuse them, but this made them come even faster and more desperate. As if they were taunting her about how they had more control over her body than her own conscious did.
Creeaaaaak
Her bedroom door opened as she sat there, panting and sobbing. Her husband walked in and sat next to her on the bed, then wrapped his arms around her and whispered reassuring words into her ears. He had eventually gotten used to his wife predicting the future.
They sat there for what seemed like years, even decades to the woman, time flashing beyond her closed eyes, though it only lasted another fifteen minutes, and immediately stopped.
Then she was brought back into the present, her own present, which was refreshing once in awhile. The woman took in shuddery breaths, taking in as much of the crisp air as possible, then leaned into her husbands embrace, deeply sighing.

The woman stood in her bathroom, standing over her sink and smiling a bit crookedly as she hyperventilated. She was pregnant.
Her smile faded slowly as nothing happened. Life changing moments had the tenancy to invoke time lapses of visions. But this one didn't. In fact, she hadn't had any visions in the past week or so. And she had relished in that time. Remembering how to function as a real person, and hanging around her husband who beamed in her presence.
And the small test in front of her explained everything. Her child had received her powers.

The woman and her husband stared down at their child. She was tiny, her skin dark and the tiny bit of hair on her head coarse and curly. Without even opening her eyes, she started to scream and ball as she was placed in her mothers arms, and as her father held her. In fact, she cried when anyone was holding her. If she was making human contact she was crying.
Over the next few months, the new mother found that when her child wasn't touching anyone she was quite a happy child. She was always smiling and giggling, and babbling nonsense to herself. But sometimes her babbles sounded close to actual words, and sometimes even sentences.
She elected to ignore this and pretended that her child was fine, and hadn't received a gift that could ruin her life.
Though, lingering in the little girls mind were visions of war, love and anything that had ever happened. Which in all honesty would creep her out as she grew older.
