I decided to go back to my room to rest. I can eat the snacks later I guess. My body is literally killing me.

I locked the door and went towards my bed

I flop down on my bed, and I didn't expect that I'll immediately be dead asleep once my skin touched the soft white fur blanket.

While Julio was sleeping He didn't even know that Mirabel was suffering in grief because HE wasn't there to be her witness. Pain honestly.

"If it was all in my head, how did I cut my hand? And Julio was there with me."

Mirabel had a hard time convincing them since Julio was no where to be found, the rest of the family probably all concluded that Julio was already asleep on his room.

The reason for this was because Julio will always be waking up in a bad mood whenever he sleeps pass midnight or even near the time of midnight. Julio will be in a bad mood all day if he were to sleep very late.

"Julio wasn't there anymore, I know you all are probably thinking that he went to bed before all of that.. but...I would never ruin Antonio's night. Is that really what you think?"

Julieta was making Arepas for Mirabel's injured hand. "What I think is that today was really hard for you." Julieta looked at her daughter with worry.

"That's not-mmh!..I was looking out for the family." Julieta still looked the same at Mirabel's pure eyes.

"And I may not be super strong like Luisa, or effortlessly perfect like seniorita perfecta Isabella who never even had a bad hair day, and even be like Julio who is super smart and calm, He is the Suave flor de invierno. The pride of our family but-*sigh* Whatever.." Mirabel leaned on the counter in defeat.

Julieta took her daughter's hand and leaned beside her. Casita moved a plate of arepa and a salt container(?) towards Julieta.

Julieta put little bit of salt on the arepa and handed it over to Mirabel. "I wish you could see yourself the way I do. You are perfect. Just like this, you are special like anyone else in this family."

"Mhm, You just healed my hand with arepa con queso."

Julieta made two of her fingers walked in Mirabel's hand before squeezing it with both of her hand and placed it by her face."I healed your hand with the love for my daughter, with wonderful brain. Big heart."

Mirabel rolled her eyes at her mother's loving praises obvious getting embarrassed. "Stop."

"Cool glasses!"

"Mamá," Julieta proceeded to kiss Mirabel's cheek. "Mi amor rosalin-"

Mirabel got out of her mother's hands and looked at her with seriousness, "Look I know what I saw...We saw."

Julieta sighed and out her hands down, He looked at Mirabel with worry and Mirabel looked at her with worry."Mira my brother Bruno lost his way in this family. I don't want the same for you or even for Julio.." Julieta thought to also bring Julio on this, she's still not sure if both of her and Julio was together in that time.

Julieta shrugged and decided to let her daughter go to bed."Get some sleep you'll feel better tomorrow."

-_-_-_-

Because of all the things that happened I suddenly had a nightmare. About Casita breaking and we lost Casita, the cracks the loud noises it made just jolt up and panting rapidly.

I looked around frantically making my self be assured that Casita is fine, I'm fine, everyone is fine. I flop backwards and let out a small sigh.

Just staring at the ceiling, it couldn't help me forget what just happened.

I stood up, wear my indoor slippers and went out. I almost forgot about the scratch on my hand.

I went out off my room and immediately heard Mirabel talking, and she's probably talking with Casita like always.

About...what happened tonight..

I knock on the nursery door and I swear she bump into something because of the sudden knock. I mean who would knock in the middle of the night?

"Mira it's me Juli-" Mirabel quickly dragged me inside and made me sit down on Antonio's previous bed. Oh it's also my bed while I was still staying in the nursery but that not the point here.

"Julio please I'm begging you tell me that you also saw the cracks on the wall and the entire shaking," She begged but I didn't hide anything and just replied with a yeah and she quickly took a big sigh.

"That's why I'm here..Do know why that was happening?" I'll be a detective if you want.

"No but I think there's something hurting the magic."

I rolled my eyes, "Obviously.. Casita and the my magic going out of control of course there must be something hurting the magic or even the damn candle itself."

Mirabel looked defeated because of another dead end on her magic saving mission, but she suddenly noticed the little info I let out."Wait. So your magic is going out of control?"

I shrugged my shoulder and looked at her completely calm,"Yeah.." "Since when did this happen?"

I stroke my hand across my hair and looked at her with unsure gaze."Since when I saw the cracks? I noticed that even here my magic is slowly getting out of my control now," I told Mirabel as I pointed at my feet. The wood was getting infected with crawling ice and I also noticed that little icicles started to form on the ceiling.

I'm a little nervous actually but eventually kept myself calm for the best.

"Wow...Well what do you think Julio? What should we do?" Mirabel is trying to save the magic huh.

"It's best to talk to my Hermana, You know her gift. It's a perfect first step to this mission." I suggested and Mirabel slammed her fist on her palm."Of course. She does hears everything about everything."

But I think it's best if we lay low. So one would get in the way. "Mira I think it would be best if we forget about everything about what happened tonight, and not mention it to anyone."

"Why?"

"Do you want any distractions and suspicions. We both know that we should do this secretly as possible." I crossed my arms and looked at her with my rare cold gaze. Yeah bet she shivered a bit because of that intense gaze.

"Okay Julio." I smiled and turned into my calm self. "Great! Then I'll be going now." I got out of the door and there I saw on the terrace railing that a plate of Deditos de Queso was placed waiting for me to eat them.

Deditos de Queso a fried breaded cheese sticks also well known as one of Camilo's favorite food. I took the plate and head back to my room.

"Thanks Casita."
