all humans, all equal

We are all humans, each of us, an intelligent species that thinks and feels.

We are made of the same bones that support us; of the same flesh and muscles and fragile skin that bruises and scars too easily. We have the same heart that pumps the lifeblood running through our red arteries, blue veins and purple capillaries; a heart that cringes and throbs when lashed at with harsh words and cruel actions. We each were gifted with the breath of life, and the same fate of death awaits each one of us.

We are brothers and sisters, each of us. So why do we deny our own brothers, our own sisters? Why do we forget about respect and our capacity to love?

What should and should not be fine?

You're a homosexual who likes someone of the same sex as yourself?
FINE

You're a bisexual who has a preference for guys?
FINE

You're a bisexual who has a preference for girls?
FINE

You're a pansexual who is open to anyone?
FINE

You are a transgender who wishes to have an external appearance that matches what you are inside?
FINE

What is NOT fine is to discriminate someone on who they love just because they do not fit into the confinements of what you think is right.

What is NOT fine is to label things as 'gay or straight'. It's not a gay marriage, it's just a marriage. It's not a gay wedding, it's just a wedding.

What is NOT fine is talking of acceptance, yet still cringing at actions that go against the socially constructed ideas of what is normal. Acceptance simply has no exceptions.

Supporting these rights is not about being brave -it's about being a decent human being. As quoted from Anne Hathaway, "Love, is a human experience, not a political statement."

So love; love with all your heart and all your mind, with all your soul and all your thoughts. And keep in mind, the one thing that should push us to fight for equality for all:

We are all humans in the end.
