Just as I went back into the changing room and sat down on one of the chairs, the woman who had welcomed me earlier came to me.
"Sweetie, there's someone asking for you for the private room. One of the VIP guests, he specifically asked for a private dance from you."
I looked at the woman through the mirror appraisingly and although I already suspected who it might be I asked, "Who?"
The woman took a deep breath, "Oh girlie, we don't give out names here. It's your decision. He's waiting for you in private room 4. The rooms are just down the hall." She pointed her index finger in the direction of the door that led to the hallway.
I slowly ran a hand through my brownish hair, "Okay."
She hummed softly and slowly exited the dressing room after giving the other girls in the locker room a wave.
"Antonio, I don't know if this is the right time, but our cousin is coming to visit tomorrow." Rustled from the earpiece and Raffaele's voice reached my ear.
Shaking my head, I got up from my seat and took a deep breath. The chair squeaked as I pushed it back and the other girls' conversations in the background were suddenly a little too loud for me. I was nervous.
Slowly I made my way to the door and whispered softly so no one thinks I'm insane, "Private room 4. Is it him?"
"Positive, I saw him leave the lounge." Came back Luca's voice from my right ear in reply.
I pushed down the handle of the changing room door and stepped out into the hallway, my hand lightly scratching a spot on my cheek to cover my moving lips, "I'm going in. No matter what you hear don't interfere. If anything happens then I'll make myself known."
Silence followed my words and I kept walking down the hallway, the diamonds of my outfit clicking together with every step I took.
Any details that might remind people of me were gone. Different hair color. Different eye color. My tattoo was covered up and so was every little redness on my skin. It was all good.
Already, I walked past door 1, then door 2, and finally I saw a door in the distance with two men standing next to it. I recognized their faces immediately, they were the two bodyguards of Konstantin I had seen before.
Konstantin was and is a close friend and confidant of my father. He would never reveal information about the organization, at least he wouldn't if he knew he was even being questioned.
I strolled up to the two men and stopped in front of the entrance. A big 4 was written on the wooden door.
"Gentlemen." I looked up at the two muscle men, "I think I'm expected."
