The world crashing down...... (sonic various x reader)

Y/N POV

     We were all enjoying the beach today, my friends went swimming while I stayed with the Sonic Crew™. After an hour, a volleyball game was starting to commence, but Tails walked to the group, U.T. by his side. I noticed that Sticks looked annoyed at the sight, while I didn't care.

"Okay, I know things got off on the wrong foot yesterday, but I--" Tails tried to say something else, but Sonic interrupted.

"Tails, I think it would be best if you turned UT off." he tried to reason, as his friend, he would tell him the best course of action emotionally. U.T. beeped before giving us a translation.

"Amy Rose is a big dope."  

    Wait for a second, I don't know him much, but this isn't what Sonic would say. He is too nice to say such a thing. He is canonically the nicest person here, there should be no debate on that.

"Oh! So now that's what you're thinking?" Amy scoffs, upset at U.T.'s translation.

"Wh-what? No, not even close!" Sonic responds, shocked at the translation, but also shocked at how she could believe that so quickly.

"And her hair stinks! What does she shampoo with? Yogurt from the back of the fridge?" U.T. "translates" further.

     The arguments go on for an hour. Mindless disputes and ordeals that shouldn't exist over a mere toy. Tails must have felt the same, why else would he bring up that the invention was swapped? He starts to run in the direction of Eggman's lair. However, he feels something is off and looks back to realize that I was the only one to follow him.

" ...Don't you guys wanna get UT back?" he asks nervously.

"Thing is, bud, that robot of yours just makes us fight all the time," Sonic responds, trying to keep his response as friendly as possible.

" It's evil, I tell ya!" Sticks informally says.

"It makes you happy, so I will help you get U.T. back," I state, wanting Tails to be happy that I want to help.

"I see how it is, Y/N and I will retrieve U.T. ourselves." Tails shouts, clearly upset with his friends. He then grabs my hand with a swift motion and leads me to Dr. Eggman's lair.

     When we get to Eggman's lair, Tails jumps down from the window opening and lands into a cake as I skillfully land onto another space on the table. They converse about negotiation and agree that Tails and I stay for U.T.'s release.

"Are we going through with this negotiation, I feel anxious taking the offer."

"Don't worry! We will be fine, if you want to be sure, we can send a message to the others." Tails reassures.

    We converse further, which resulted in a contract to solidify the agreement. However, what Eggman didn't realize is that U.T. can translate messages as well as speech. When we sent the message, it would translate it into a call for help. After working with Eggman and being put into many safety hazards, our friends made their way into the main room, which is the room we were working in. Eggman retaliates when they demanded that we be returned, stating that we had a contract, however, Orbot brought in a blank contract, ready to be signed. Tails and I chuckled before walking to our friends, smiling cheekily.

     After walking home with our freedom, Sonic suggested that we bring U.T. on more missions, however Sticks threw the invention in the river, wanting nothing to do with it after today. We all laughed it off, walking home from our first battle.
