Once he had the vent opened, he stood up and motioned towards it, "ladies f-".

"Oh shut up" I grunted, before hopping down into the vent.

". . .alright" he huffed, before jumping down to join me in the -rather tight- vent space, "Okay, I'll go one way, you go the other, maybe one of us will find the end".

"Maybe!?" I exclaimed, ". . .fine, whatever, good luck".

"See ya on the other side!" Jack whispered before he started crawling, hopefully he'd find a exit.

I started worming my way through this small space, "he better not wimp out on me".

-three minutes later-

I finally found a panel on the floor of the vent system that looked like it could get me out of here.

I opened it, and peeked my head through it. Everything was upside down, but I did see an elf in a jar of jelly beans.

"Ha! I found one!" I whispered to myself.

But suddenly, somehow, jack walked through a door and snuck towards the elf.

If he were to get the elf, he'd say that HE found it. But I found it.

I decided to take action. I leaned farther down through the vent, and tried to use my legs to hold me in place, but that. . .didn't work. Instead, I fell straight down and landed it a barrel of chocolate covered nuts.

My accidental flop alarmed the elf and sent it scrambling around the room.

"Nice going. Were you trying to fall?" Jack groaned, running after the little creature.

"No! Of course not!" I frowned, trying to get out of the barrel, "p-please help me!".

He looked under a table, "ugg! Well, there went the elf!".

"Yes, that's a shame. . .now help me!" I whined.

He walked over to me with a sour expression on his face, and grabbed the rim of the barrel.

"Uhh. . .you aren't going to. . .t-tip m-".

Before i could finish talking, he pushed the barrel over, which spilled chocolate covered nuts all over the floor. Good news was that I was out of the container, though.

"Your welcome" jack mumbled, "now help me find the elf".

"Alright, alright!" I said, stumbling to my feet.

And at that, we started searching the dark candy store.

-two hours of searching the candy store, later-

After what felt like endless hours of looking around, I stumbled upon the door to the storage room.

"Jack!" I quietly yelled to him.

"What?" He asked, walking towards me.

"I might have found them!" I cheered.
