-3 hours of brutal snow fights and cold, later-

"Haha! Take that!" I laughed, throwing a snowball right at jacks face.

"Oww! Ha! Nice one!" Jack laughed, wiping the snow off himself.

He was standing at his fort, which was about twenty feet from mine, and near the trees.
My fort was five feet from the living room window, and I was crouched behind it.

"Thanks! I've been practicing!" I sarcastically laughed, throwing another at him.

"Oh! Come on! That's not fair, you aren't giving me a chance to attack!" Jack yelled, falling back.

"Maybe you should crouch down behind your fort! It would give you better coverage!" I suggested, peeking over the snow wall.

"Yeah I know, but I like standing up, because I have a better view of you!" Jack smiled, before blushing, ". . .oh! Not like that! I-I meant like. . .to th-. . .I'll shut up".

"Good idea" I yelled, blushing myself.

". . .how long is this snowball fight going to last?" Jack asked from behind his fort.

"As long as you make it!" I laughed, getting another snowball ready.

"Well then I'll wrap it up fast" Jack said, before throwing three snowballs at me.

After that, he ran towards my fort. I knew what he was doing, so I jumped out of his way, as he slipped into the fort.

When I looked up, he was laying in the pile of snow that used to be my fort, "JACK!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?!?".

"It's getting dark! I didn't think you'd want this to continue all through the night!!" Jack said, looking at me, "so I took the proper actions!".

". . .BY DESTROYING MY FORT!?!" I yelled, standing up.

"Seemed reasonable to me?" Jack smiled, jumping up off the cold snow.

" *sigh* wow, that's nice!" I frowned, ". . .I'm just gonna go inside now".

"Alright. I'd join you, but north said he needed my help back at the pole" Jack sighed, rubbing his neck.

"That's fine. I've. . .got my own plans" i mumbled, walking to the door.

"Cool. . .see you later I guess?" Jack waved.

"Probably tomorrow" I said, opening the front door.

"Right. . .right" jack mumbled, "well, see you then".

I nodded, and walked inside, "bye jack".

"Bye lux" he smiled, before the wind carried him away.

I closed the door behind me, and took my wet shoes off.

"Ah, warm at last" I said to myself, taking my damp parka off.

I walked up the stairs to my bedroom, and saw the time was 5:14.

"Still too early to sleep" I groaned.

I put on a pair of yellow socks, and went back downstairs.

I flopped down on to the couch, and turned on the tv.

"Let's see what's on".

I scrolled through multiple channels, but found nothing that interested me.

Harry Potter? Nope.

Avengers? Not happening.

Star Wars? . . .no. . .

All the shows on the tv were either meant for kids, or just too boring.

Seeing as though it was about dark, The option of going back outside wasn't open, so I was stuck inside.

"Might as well get a snack" I huffed, standing back up and walking to the fridge.

I dug through it, and finally found a croissant, "Ah! Jackpot!".

I started eating it as I walked back to the couch.

Once I sat back down and got comfy, i turned on the avengers movie. It Couldn't be awful, right?

-two hours later-

I was sitting on the couch, crying because of the darn movie. It turned out to be fairly good after all.

It was 7:14pm, a reasonable time to go to sleep.

I turned the tv off, and started my way upstairs.

I opened the door to my bedroom, and felt a chill rush over me.

The window was open again. But I don't remember opening it.

I walked over to the window and closed it, cutting off the cold draft.

"Finally. . .time to sleep" I sighed, pulling down the covers.

I jumped on to the bed, laid down and snuggled into the pillow.

I pulled the blankets over myself, and passed out.

Hopefully I can get a few hours of sleep in.
