"AXEL!! WAKE UP ALREADY!" I heard a loud (and extremely annoying) voice say, waking me up from the dream I was never able to finish. My eyes opened, slowly and groggily. Meeting them was the face of my younger brother.
"Eli, do you seriously have to wake me up like that every morning? It's ridiculous."
"Get dressed! Get dressed! I wanna see Cole!!" He whined.
"I'm not rushing just so you can see your insane boyfriend sooner." I said. Eli looked at me with a red face. "He's not insane!" Eli said "and he's not my boyfriend either..."
I chuckled. His voice cracked and he was blushing. Yep, definetly not his boyfriend.
"Okay, now leave. I'm getting dressed." I said. The fourteen year old brother of mine stared at me curiously. "Can I ask you a question, Ax?"
"You just did. Now get out." I snaped, throwing a pillow at him.
"Have you ever dated somone?" Eli asked. " ' Cause your way to grumpy in the morning to ever get a girl to like you." He teased trying to get me back.
"Shush your face, child." I pushed him out the door and punched the lock, making sure he heard it.
NEVER AGAIN! I screamed in my head. Memories are awful, but as I got dressed i couldn't help but drift back to them...
"I have a council of dark shadow people that talk to me in my dreams." Kaliey and I had been dating for awhile now. We both exchanged 'i love you's ' and shared in all that mushy relationship stuff.
I thought I could trust her. Thought.
"You what?"
"I talk to them back. They help me when i'm lonley." I took her hands. "But, since i met you i haven't been so lonley..." I looked up at her face. I was half shocked to see her expression resemble pure discust.
"YOU FREAK!" She yelled, jumping up from where she sat. "Sorry, but i dont date creepy phycopaths." She gave me another look and stormed away.
Alone.
Again.
