Blair had fallen asleep in the back of the car across Ben's lap as they drove back home. He felt bad that she wasn't able to get the monkey that she wanted.

When they pulled up into Rey's driveway Ben unbuckled Blair from her seat and carried her inside her house.

"She's worn out," Rey said. "I think I'm gonna just put her down for a nap. I'll be right back." She carried Blair up the stairs while Ben scoped around the living room looking at all of the photos.

Some pictures showed Rey laughing and smiling with a toddler, Blair celebrating every one of birthday parties, a tiny Blair with her best friends and then one photo showed Rey in the hospital holding newborn baby Blair in her arms.

He had missed so much over the years, every birthday party, every elementary school graduation, every family gathering, Blair's birth, her first steps, her first words. He missed it all. If he could go back into the past and change everything that had happened to her then maybe right now he wouldn't be wishing to be forgiven.

He noticed one simple painting of a starry night and the moon shining high above the stars.

They rode through the city streets passing every building as the lights shined down above them. She carefully kept her grip around Ben's waist as they sped faster and faster. The sound of his motorcycle filling their ears.

She felt him grab her hand on his chest making her smile. The glowing lights above were mesmerizing.

Every breath she took always came out in a frosty air flow. Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of snow so it wasn't too bad to drive. He pulled over at the park and hopped off allowing her to jump off as well.

They walked through the park taking the lights that filled the trees. Their entwined hands locked together as they stood side by side.

"What should we do for prom in the spring?" She asked. "You gonna rent a limousine?" She joked.

"No, I actually don't think we should go to the prom," he said.

"Alright what are we going to do instead?" She asked. Her hazel locks shifted over her shoulder, she had grown out her hair since the beginning of their high school year and it made her look even more beautiful.

"I can't tell you," he said.

"Why not?" She pouted.

"Just wait and see, I have a few tricks up my sleeve." He twirled her around as her hair spun across her face.

"Do you think we should be heading back to the bike?" She asked.

"It's only 7:15 you're curfew is at ten and it takes us forty minutes to drive back."

"But I don't want to keep walking," she laughed. He pulled her towards him where she hopped on his back and was carried the rest of the way.

He continued to stare out at the painting unbeknownst to him that Rey was coming down the stairs.

"You okay?" She asked. He looked down at her petite frame and smiled.

"I was just looking through all your pictures, you've got quite a few," he said.

She smirked, "Thanks to your mother she takes a lot of photos."

"She certainly does," he said. Her smile started to fade when a small idea popped inside of her head.

"If you want...I can give you a few."

"What?"

"I can give you some photos, if you want. You don't have to," she said.

"I mean...I wouldn't mind," he said.

"Follow me," she led him upstairs into her room where she was searching through her closet. "Here it is." She came out with a large box that said "Photos" on it.

"You're mom took a lot of photos for every tiny detail that I didn't have enough money to buy frames, or the room," she explained. Inside there were hundreds of photos, mostly with Blair.

"I'm guessing Blair is a celebrity in this box," he said.

"You have no idea," she said.

They went through at least hundreds of thousands of photos, each one was described in direct detail about what was going on in it. After long conversations and a few laughs, she had given him exactly twenty two photos, each one with Blair being in it.

His most favorite one was the first one he picked out which was of baby Blair when she was only seven months old. It made him smile, he looked back at her house as he looked up at Blair's dark window. He hadn't noticed how long he had stayed because it was already getting dark.

He hopped into his truck and took off.

That was the tackiest ending I've ever written and once again another short chapter. Sorry about that, I can promise you that the next chapter will be a bit longer.
