I DON'T OWN PICTURE
Ivy carefully break the stamp and unfold the letter.
Dear Fireball She let out a laugh to familiar nickname
It feel weir to write you a letter that I don't even know if it ever reach you, but I have faith it will. If you read these I am most likely dead, or you are back in home which I hope from bottom of my heart, hopefully not both.
I want to explain you couple things. First why I haven't come after you on these long centuries. After you exile, your parents and whole village put so much pressure over your siblings that I couldn't abandon them. Azril, your big brother, bate himself because of your exile. He felt like he didn't protect you enough. He is, after all, Fairy of Protection. He has trained like maniac with her magic to make barrier stronger and trained with his fighting skills so he can protect Annie better than you. I have tried to convince him that it wasn't his fault. He is your brother, not your dad or protector. Do you know what he answer me everytime? "It was my duty, because mother and father didn't even tried." I have slowly healed his heart and soul, I know you never blame him for that and tried to convince him about that too. He always smiled and answered that he knew about that.
Azril needed me and Annie, your little sister need me even more. Everyone push and expect perfection and kindness from her. She is Fairy of Healing. Her magic blossom little after you left. Your parents denied every bad feeling from her. She wasn't even allowed to mourn over you in home. I became a safe haven for her. I allowed her to play and throw a tantrums and show every emotion she wanted in my home. She is almost as powerful as you Ivy. She needed guidance. She is shy young woman who is forced to act serene and kind all the time. She once told me that she hope that she remember more about you so she can have role model in her mind. She agreed with your action. She couldn't have either watch little boy drown, mortal or not. She is proud that you are her sister. She has same beautiful eyes as you Ivy, I can see fire underneath all those masks. She will be pride and joy of this village if they won't push her too far. She has grown so strong and I have been there for her. I encouraged her to speak with Azril as honestly as she speak with me and she promised to try.
So, that was first reasons. Second reason is that I have fight for you in everyday in past 500 years. I have tried to convinced elders and your parents that you should be pardoned. You deserve it. Do you know what elders show me on first decades? They show me how rage has consumed you. How you fought your way through two decades from battlefield to battlefield, killing like there is no tomorrow. It hurt my heart more than I can tell you and I still regret that I couldn't come to you, hug you tightly and tell that everything will be okay. Still, I had faith that you could come around and you did. You found different path, you found yourself again.
I can't tell how proud I am of you, Ivy. You have grown to be excellent fairy, worth to wear my pendant of Titania. She was my protector as long as I can remember and I want to give it to you. I know you will make our Goddess proud. I know you have righteous heart and soul, don't let rage or revenge swallow them. You are my beloved Fireball, light in darkness, Fairy of Elements, one born in the worst storm in million years, true Stormborn. I know others see it as bad omen and that you are cursed. I see it like blessing, that storm foresee your future, your soul. You are like roaring thunderstorm, full of life. You can strike fear in your enemies heart but I know you can be merciful and kind.
You will find your own path, even if it mean it isn't with us ever again. Let the love have a chance, you don't deserve to be alone, you deserve love. I love you, Azril and Annie love you. I am sure there will be people who love you as well. Let them do that. Give trust one more chance. Give love a chance.
I will always love you and I will be with you even if I die.
Love
Elsie, Fairy of Water. Your loving aunt.
Ivy sob quietly while reading the letter. She has always wondered why Elsie didn't come after her, why she abandoned her. Know she know and she can't be more proud of what she has done. She has supported most important people of her life in her place. She push the letter in her chest and lean over her legs while tears drop from her eyes. "I love you too auntie." She sob quietly in air. She feel the urge to run back in village and rip elders apart until they tell her the truth of her death, she want nothing more than hug her siblings and tell them how proud of them she is. She want to hug Annie, see her all grown up. She was so little when she get exiled. She force herself to stay in her spot. She knew that if she go, she will only put them in danger and cause more pain if she end up executed.
Ivy slowly get herself back together and straighten her posture. She fold the letter gently and put it on her pocket. She take the jewelry box out and open the lid again. She caress the surface of the gold pendant and sad smile form in her lips. "I will make you proud aunt Elsie, Goddess Titania." She murmur and put it on her neck. Pendant feel warm between her breasts. "I will figure out who murdered you, Elsie." She promise with closed eyes while pressing over the pendant. Then she open her eyes, determined look in her eyes. She jump down on ground and turn toward old bridge. "You should be scared light fairies. Stormborn is coming after you." She promise coldly and start her journey.
