Ivy sense how van move and Loki hold her all the way back to compound. She feel the temperature chances when they move inside and smell medical wing's smell. She feel how he lower her gently on cold table and they start to examine her wings. She wanted to stop them but couldn't while swimming around conscious and unconscious. She grunt and whimper occasionally when they dig the bullets out. "Don't hurt her more you idiots!" She hear Loki snap but couldn't hear others answer. Then someone take her hand gently in their cold ones. Wave of frost, old books and tea wash over her soothing her nerves. 

Ivy finally start to properly wake up. She blink her eyes couple times to get them focus and notice that she is on her stomach in bed. She glance around and see how her wings are carefully placed on beds next to where she is. She sense someone is in room with her and turn to look toward them. Loki sit there, clearly tired, while hiding his face in hand. She smile a little and push herself on fours while collecting wings better behind her. She grunt quietly because of soreness. "Ivy?" She turn to look at him and smile. "Hi Loki." She croak and clear her throat. "Ivy! Thank Gods." He say and rush to give her glass of water. She sit on her knees and take gladly the glass. 

Loki stare at Ivy worried and look her up while she finish the water. She try to move her wings and frown. "They are healed." She mumble. "You were unconscious for two days Ivy." He tell her quietly. "What?!" She ask in shock and stare at him. He nod without looking at her. "I have never been out that long!" She continue, pull her wings inside and push the other bed out of the way to get on her feet. "What about Emma, that little girl? What about Basilisk? Is others okay?" She bomber him with question. For her surprise he glare at her and she shut up. "You got heavily injured, were unconscious for two days and first thing you ask is if others are okay?!" He answer angrily.

Ivy stare at Loki confused. "Of course I am worried about that little girl. Her rescue was whole point on that mission." She answer unsure. "Unbelievable." He scoff, turn around and rush out of room. She stare after him confused. What the hell happened? She wonder. She notice that she has some hospital gown on and snort. She look around and notice new pair of clothes on table nearby. She quickly chance and turn toward door. 

Then others burst inside Bucky in front. "IVY!" They yell and she is soon in group hug. "Guys, I can't breath." She whine and they let go. "Thank God you are finally back in Earth, fairy." Tony say and tap her shoulder. "Yeah, me too. Sorry for the trouble, I should have been more careful." She apologize. "No, you did everything right. None of us found any traces of ambush." Sam argue. She look at him suspicious. "You followed me?" He notice his slip and smile innocently. "Of course we did. You did that bargain on our behalf." Steve say. She let out a laugh and shake her head. "You guys are unbelievable." She complain humorously. "Like you can talk." Wanda tease her and everyone share relieved laugh.

They fill Ivy in on what have happened. They managed to catch couple Basilisk's men and have returned Emma safely back to her family. Prisoners are currently on SHIELD's custody. Natasha pile big plate of food front of her in kitchen and she devour it in record time. "Where Loki have gone? Did you take that controller off already?" She ask after the meal. Steve sigh. "We haven't. We still don't think it is time." He answer. She scoff and roll her eyes. "You are being ridiculous. He has behaved perfectly. If you don't even give him a chance what is the point him being here?" She argue. Others dodge her eyes. Thor start to laugh. "I think she is right. It has been two months already, he deserve his chance so he can redeem himself." He come in her side and put hand on her shoulder. 

Ivy nod to Thor as thanks and turn to stare at Steve. He look conflicted. "He deserve the chance at least." She usher. He sigh in defeat and she start to smile. "Fine, you can take it off. Tony give her the key." He command. "What? Are you serious?" Tony ask unbelieving. "I think Steve is right, you gave me a chance too." Bucky put in. Ivy smile little wider. Tony look around and eventually everyone nod. He sigh in defeat. "I don't like this." He murmur but throw little pendrive to Ivy. She catch it. "You know where the lid is?" She nod. "Put that in there and it will open it." He explain. She smile widely, put it in pocket and jump on her feet. "Thanks, now where is he?" Others shrug and she frown. "You should check his room first." Thor instruct. "Thanks." She say before running toward his room.

Ivy feel bubbling joy. Finally they have agreed to give him a chance. She stop front of his room and raise her fist. She stop little before hitting the door when she remember how he stormed out of medical wing. Her smile waver. She take deep breath in, glue the smile back on and knock on door. No one answered but she hear noise from inside. "Loki, it is me." She call and knock on door again. Finally someone approach the door. Loki yank it open. "What?" He spat. She frown a little. "I have some good news. Can I come in?" She ask unsure. He scoff but make her way. She quickly slip inside and look around. She frown when she notice couple broken furnitures.

"So, what do you want?" Loki ask coldly. Ivy turn to face him. "What is going on?" She ask worried. "Nothing." "Don't lie to me." She plead. He stare at her without a word. She sigh disappointed. "What happened when I was out? I thought we have grow closer." She ask. "Nothing is wrong." He repeat. "Loki! I can see that something is wrong. Talk to me, please." She plead and approach him. "Please." She repeat and grab his hand gently. She see his fight inside him, finally he give up and pull her in tight hug. She feel how he hide his face in her hair. She relax and hug him back. "I'm worried, what is wrong?" She murmur against his chest. 

Loki didn't answer immediately and Ivy wait patiently in his arms, sensing that he still has some barrier to climb over. "I have never felt so utterly useless than when you laid in that bed unconscious. There was nothing I could do for you." He whisper. She hear fear and self-blaming in his voice. "You did exactly what I needed from you. You came to me, you brought the antidote and you stayed with me when I was defenseless." She assure and squeeze him little tighter. "I should have been there with you, I should have stopped you from going alone." He argue with gruff voice. 

Ivy move to look at Loki in eyes. She raise her hand to cup his face between them. "You couldn't have stopped me and you didn't have any duty to come with me. It was my job, mine alone." She assure and smile gently to him. "But-" She put her finger over his lips. "You shouldn't blame yourself. You didn't do anything wrong, quite opposite. Okay?" He look at her unsure but nod. She smile and take her finger away. "Good. Now show me that fucking controller." She command and grab his forearm on her waist. She gently pull it on view and look for the lid. She open it and take pendrive from her pocket. She put it on it's place. Soon controller click and she take it off with wide smile. "Better." She grin and throw the controller in trash bin. She feel how magic surge back in him.

Loki stare at his empty wrist in shock then he turn to look at Ivy. "How?" "I promised to figure it out in two weeks, it take couple days over that but I hope you can forgive me." She answer with victorious smile. "You really are incredible little fairy." He mumble and smile to her. "Anything for my friend." She answer proudly.
