Chapter 11
12:01 pm
(Y/n) taps her pencil on her notebook while resting her head on her palm and thinking. How am I supposed to "get ready" for an interview, I've interviewed many times before but I've never been an interviewee... ah! Since interviewers prepare questions, then maybe I should prepare answers! Ok, that means I need to get my facts straight and predict what they might ask me...
The girl jots down everything she remembers from the incident in her notebook, suddenly realizing that what happened wasn't as much. After she was done, she pauses for a moment and stares at her notes, and when she was convinced with what she wrote, she decides to move on to her next task, which is helping the social media team.
Room 17... room 17... there!
(Y/n) walks to the door, which is half opened, and knocks.
"Hm...?" she hears him, sounding rather annoyed, which reminded her of her old boss.
"Sir, this is Ms. (L/n) (Y/n),"
"Come in," she walks in, and bows. He doesn't look up from the papers and files that are spread all over his desk, flipping them as if searching for something and then quickly turning to his computer to type something.
"Uhm—sir..." he looks up at (Y/n), who is standing awkwardly and waiting for him to notice her presence, "sir, I was sent to help the social media team,"
"Ah yes, the comments, comments, comments... there is too many!" he drops his palms on his table. Is he okay? He then gets up from his chair and picks up his thin laptop, "follow me, miss," the girl follows his lead as he walks through the hall, then he starts to talk to (Y/n) who is walking behind him, "we weren't expecting the hate comments to be this bad, and we will need quite some time to clear them out—and we need to also make sure Hwang Hyunjin doesn't get very affected by them, you know, netizens are merciless" he says, (Y/n) nods. Ah... now I'm feeling more anxious about seeing what people are saying.
They reach a large office with cubicles, radiating busy weather. Everybody is so focused on their bright screens, and typing. Mr. Noh leads her to a cubicle where a woman was typing and then moves her attention to them after Mr. Noh knocks. She stands from her chair to greet them,
"Hello, sir," they both greet her back.
"How is everything going? Any progress?"
"Oh, what can I say? It's so frustrating that no matter how many comments are deleted, there are still so many places where people are hating and misunderstanding and demanding an explanation," the woman complains.
"What about the apology letter?" he asks.
"Mr. Yoon hasn't said anything about it yet..."
"What? Isn't that the most important part?" the lady shrugs, and then Mr. Noh turns to (Y/n). "Ms. (L/n), will you please do me a favor? It's very important," wasn't I supposed to help with the comments?
"Yes, sir, what is it?"
"Go to Mr. Yoon and ask him about the apology letter, I'm pretty sure he forgot about it or something,"
"Yes, sir,"
"Thank you," the girl nods and walks out of the cubicle, and makes her way to Mr. Yoon's office. Why do I feel like everybody is sending me around—?
(Y/n) knocks on Mr. Yoon's door, and he lets her in,
"Mr. Yoon, Mr. Noh sent me back here,"
