"Come on... It's gonna be alright. Besides, it's just me and you who's going." Estrella says, doing my hair. I sigh, wiping my tears. "Señora Isabela is expecting you, you know? Mirabel might be too, and then Camilo.. Before you say anything, I just know mama would be really mad at you right now." Estrella added, crossing her arms.
"Right... Well, we shouldn't be late." I said and she nodded. We went out, saying a silent goodbye to the now quiet house. We went to the place, and Camilo was there greeting people, I put up my usual face.
"Ah, the Magindara sisters. Geez you look a mess." Camilo said looking at me, and laughed. Did I..? Then I realize he was teasing again.
"Fix your outfit choice before you start talking to me." I said, and laughed. He rolled his eyes and continue greeting other people. Everyone has having fun, partying with each other.
"Estrella! Over here!" I heard Emilia exclaim, and Estrella turns to me. I nodded and she went to Emilia.
"(Y/n)! Oh my Gosh, I need to tell you a lot." Isabela said, coming to me and hugging me. I laughed.
"Let's get something to eat. I'm honestly starving." I said and she nodded.
"Thought you might say that." She said and got her vine to grab a plate full of food, and I gasp. She told me about Mariano and how much she's been dealing with lately... She always tell me everything behind her abuela's back, I would just listen.
"Isabela! There you are, it's time!" Luisa exclaim.
"Ah! Right, I'll see you later (Y/n)!" Isabela exclaim waving, and I wave back. I met with my sister agais the ceremony started.
Abuela Alma went on this long speech about the miracle, and how it saved them.. I look at the end, and saw Antonio, everyone cheers for him as the tiles to a pathway became red. He seems really nervous... Casita lifted the poor boy, and he didn't budge. He then turn to the side, presenting his hand.. Thanks to the dead silence, I could hear faint whispers. Mirabel suddenly shows up, and I gasp, along with others. The two started to walk together, and up the stairs.
"Will you use this gift to honour our miracle, will you serve this community and strengthen our home?" Abuela ask, showing the candle to Antonio. He shyly nodded, holding the candle and went to open the door, he hesitated for a bit but then touch the door knob. A toucan suddenly land on his arm and he turns to the toucan, as the toucan suddenly starts 'talking' to him, Antonio was nodding and humming.
"Of course they can come!" Antonio exclaim. Ah, he can speak to and understand animals. The toucan made a call, and suddenly.
"Woah!" I exclaim, almost falling back at the raccoon that suddenly went past me. Estrella caught me, and I manage to get a glance towards Camilo, he looks worried for a second, but realize I was looking on his way and quickly took his attention towards his little brother.
"Are you okay?" Estrella ask and I nod.
"We have a new gift!" Abuela exclaim as everyone cheered and raced to the top. We got in there as one of the leads thankfully.
"It's bigger on the inside?!" A girl exclaim as the room expands.
"I'm guessing it's also like this to the other Madrigals." Estrella said and I nod. Suddenly a jaguar ran by and pick up Antonio and started running around the big tree.
"That's my Antonio!!!" Señor Felix exclaim, as everyone cheers and watches him in awe. He has so much freedom with this alone, the way he's having fun... They way his complete family is cheering on for him.
"(Y/-" "I.. Excuse me. Stick with Emilia." I said, and went out of the room, going to a balcony I found with a clear view. I silently cried.
"Just when everything is going right, life decides to throw me into another unfamiliar dark path again. I had my life planned out and bam, gone... Well at least the moon is well lit from here." I said, and wiped my tears away... "Maybe I could paint this scenery... It's amazing." I said as fireworks went off. I sigh then suddenly remember about the flower my brother took home... What was it again? Oleander, I found the same one on his room just hanging by his window.
