Chapter 1: What You Need To Know

Oleanders..
Why did I see a lot of those in a space I woke up? A patch of grass, and Oleanders all around me. They're all so beautiful, yet something so beautiful can be of great harm. My arms are for some reason full of hot pink vines. Suddenly a mirror appeared in front of me, Oleanders in my mouth and the left side of my face, covering my eye, the vines goes through my whole body and I can see it growing to my face.

Where am I even? What happened first of all?

(Y/n) Magindara (15), a young girl living in a small town called Encanto. The second oldest of all 8 siblings, and the eldest daughter. The little girl was so careful of everything, very shy, and gets scared of a lot of things. What she does like to do, she likes to paint a lot, dance, sing, every creative activities you could think of.

However as they grow, they hang out with a particular curly haired boy that they bumped into and thought they could be best friends, it ended up on a bad note. How? By stealing their food that they made, not leaving them any for themself or their siblings, well they ended up teasing each other whenever they meet. This became an everyday thing.

Let's do a Magindara family roll call.

Mariana Amanda Magindara (55)
The mother of the family, she's a kind hearted woman with a voice so soothing, she can hum a simple lullaby and you'd be asleep. She gets excited over the little things she'd see, a pretty butterfly? Drop everything and look at it, stars forming pretty shapes? Watch until she passes out. She also likes to read books, so when she lost her partner, the kids would find her repeating some words that her husband always tell her at night, while starring at the stars.

Andres Luis Magindara (died at 54)
The father of the family, he's just as kind but mostly protective of his kids. He's more quiet than his partner, who loves to talk a lot. He's also more calm and collected, so if ever there is a sudden disaster, he would almost immediately know what to do. Sadly, he died from a heart disease a few months before the youngest are born.

Alastair Ambrosio Magindara (20)
The eldest son, and Child. He's a self taught pharmacists, he wanted to make new medicine to at least be of help with the town. He's had a bad relationship with his mother since he always thought, in her eyes, the younger ones are more important.

Estrella Flordeliza Magindara (13)
The third child, she's more in the loud side, if (Y/n) wasn't there, she'd be deemed as the 'beautiful' child. She got most of her looks from her father, actually she's a copy of her excited mother, a Do or Die girl who immediately falls in love a lot but she never had a partner, because she's a child and her two older siblings can be strict, especially Alastair.

Marisol Liezel Magindara (10)
The older one of the twins, she's modest, but also mischievous. She's the one who would start pranks with her twin on everyone in the family, but they're actually really kind, Marisol is the comforter or therapist of the family. Even if she's young, she knows her way around words.

Marcelo Asterio Magindara (10)
The younger one of the twins. He acts the same as his sister, and would just follow up, or add more to the prank, the two are identical twins, so identical that if you were just trying to remember their basic looks, if Marisol cuts her hair like Marcelo's, or Marcelo let his hair grew like Marisol, they look exactly the same. Now, if Marisol is the therapist, he's like Julieta, he's the healer for the injured in their family.

Luciano Marcos Magindara (9)
Exact opposite of Estrella, he got most of his looks from his mother, and same attitude as his father. He keeps to himself, hell he even have a diary. He plays a lot of instruments, a Kalimba or a lyre mostly, any form of xylophone. He's the quiet cautious child of the siblings.

Miko Francis Magindara (8)
An energetic 8 year old, you have to keep a close eye on him, if not he'd be outside of Encanto. He likes to play sports a lot, he's already great at range games like shooting, archery, darts, and many more. He's a mix of their parents, but got most of his looks with his mom, he also likes to keep his hair long so his sisters can also do his hair.

Lyka Mayumi Magindara (5)
The youngest, the one who barely met her own mother. She is well protected by all of her family, especially (Y/n), she resembles a lot like her mother as well, so the kids that remember can't help but be emotional, that doesn't stop them from giving the youngest unconditional love though..

Notes:
Hello! Author here, here are some notes so that the story will go smoothly!

-(Y/n)'s family is Filipino-Colombian, and their last name actually comes from their mother and their father is Colombian :D

-Camilo and (Y/n) are frenemies, so in this story instead of Camilo using the usual 'hermosa' 'amor', lovey dovey nicknames at first, he'll be using light insults, same with (Y/n). That doesn't mean he's not gonna call them insults much though-

-Basically, if you guys know Carlos, which is Camilo's first design, a very moody emo teen, the design they used for the toys, Camilo has a bit of his personality in this story because I want to switch things up and this was supposed to be a Carlos x Reader at first.

-Expect some swearing, cause even I swear a lot and trust me, it's a bad habit.

-Some topics here may be sensitive. Like illnesses, and blood, if you don't have strong guts, please don't read :(

-Trigger Warnings will be added, first thing in the chapter :)

-Maybe a make out chapter? Light Fluff? But no NSFW, as much as I read a lot of NSFW, I cannot bring myself to write one, and you two are both minors (╬ Ò ‸Ó)

-also don't come at me for including a make out chapter, it's not like 15-16 years olds aren't making out when they have the chance ( ͡°Ĺ̯ ͡° )

-I do not own the Plot, Story, and Characters by Encanto. That rightfully belongs to Disney. The only thing I own is this story, the plot of it, and Y/n and their family thank yew ✨
