Today was a free day, meaning no one get to do any work. Everyone was out, doing their own thing...

"(Y/nnnnnnnnnnnnnn) I'm boooooorrrreeeeeed." Camilo drags his words as he follows me around town. My eye twitched.

"Do your chores." I said, and then he looked at me with a raised brow. "Right... No gift.. No house.. Well, baby sit." I said shrugging.

"Mirabel and Tío Bruno already has that covered." Camilo said as I buy the soap detergent. He follows me back home, whining that he's bored. What about the bet? Oh I called it off... It escalated a bit since that incident.. Anyways, this shape shifting brat decided to follow me in our house. I ended up walking past my mom and dad's room as Camilo went upstairs, but then noticed I stopped.

"Oh man, I forgot to burn the clothes." I said.

"Burn? Why are you burning your mom's clothes?" He ask, and I went inside her room, he stays outside.

(In Filipino culture, they burn the clothes of the dead so the spirit will not loiter and bring misfortune)

Silence was dropped on the two of us as I opened her closet, it was full of dresses I have never seen before... Is this why she always ask us not to open her closet? Then I open a drawer, it was full of sewing stuff, I also noticed the sewing machine, making me gasp lightly.

'Oh she likes to make dresses... I'm sure mom won't mind..' I thought with a small smile, I also opened another set of doors... It was full of suits for men. The two are mostly traditional Filipino costumes. I turn to Camilo.

"If you're bored, you're coming with me." I said with a smile as I grab the barong tagalog's with me, and grab him and pull him up to my room as he complained. I made him try on a lot of my mom's handmade barong tagalog and to be honest... It suits him... A lot.

"Why am I the only one trying out outfits? There are loads of dresses there! This is unfair!" Camilo exclaim, coming out. I dramatically sigh.

"Fine." I said and went down, grabbing some dresses, I have to admit they're all beautiful. It's either too big or too small for me though, we ended up trying on most of the ones in the closet, but then I noticed one neatly packaged, and there was a note.

'A surprise gift for Camilo when he's around 15.' It read.

'Hola Camilo!
Happy 15th birthday, as of now that I am writing this, you are still 5 years old, you seem to like a lot of our traditional clothes, and whenever you're playing with (Y/n), you two play a lot of dress up with the small outfits I have. I asked for a piece of fabric from your mom of your ruana, she ended up giving me the whole ruana so I'm sorry about that, but I also made one matching for (Y/n), hopefully you two would try it on! Happy birthday again!!'

"Wow, my mom made one for you, for your 15th birthday." I said and he looks surprised, I gave him a note, as he reads it, I took it out of the plastic wrapping and saw that familiar chameleon pattern.

"Mama gave her one of my ruana's?" Camilo ask looking up.

"And she made it into a sash." I said showing him, he blinked a few times, and I can't help but giggle, and gave him the outfit. "Try it on! Quick!" I exclaim, he shrug and went upstairs. I looked in the closet out of curiosity.. I saw it, but it was barely finished, then again... I saw another dress.. I can't help but try it on, grabbing a few of my mom's jewelry, and putting my hair into a bun, putting flower pins on it.

"Oh man this actually fits amazing! Your mama is amazing!" Camilo exclaim, excitedly coming down, and I went out. He turns to me and stops.

"What? I can't help but not miss out on the fun, it's also been a whole while since I last worn a filipiniana." I said giggling softly.

"Uhm...tú eres muy bonita..." He said in a whisper. My face heat up and I covered my face with my mom's fan.

"There you are Mariana! Ay... Napaka ganda mo.."

"Weh? Ginawa ko tong dress na toh, sarili ko."

"Abay kasing ganda mo yung ginawa mong bistida, mahal ko."

Mariana's face turns into a bright red and she covered her face with her fan.

"Tumahimik ka nga Andres!"

Suddenly, the door burst open, keep in mind... The master bedroom is near the living room so they're seen almost immediately by the Magindara siblings. All of those kids pushed them out to show off their outfits.

"You two look amazing! Where did you get that?!" Dolores exclaim.

"Mi mama... Uhm, she made it. This was supposed to be for Camilo's 15th birthday, so uh..it's a bit late since I just found it." I said, laughing lightly.

"Mariana is very creative! I love what she did with Camilo's ruana! And also that dress, did you know she wore that for her first date with your father? She can't stop bragging to me about it!" Tía Pepa said laughing, my eyes widened.

"Ahu, first date daw ate-" "Manahimik ka." I cut off Estrella by hitting her head with my fan. We ended up going around the day with these outfits, I also put my siblings some traditional outfit.

Also in this story, Long hair is necessary for (Y/n), so her hair reaches her upper thigh.

(P.s. the flowers in this drawing are oleanders-)
