The next day,monokuma wanted everyone to meet in the gym again.shuichi joined with the others,whilst waiting for the bear to come out of its hiding spot.as it did,saihara was raring to ask him about kokichis sister.
"Hello students of-"
"Monokuma,"shuichi spoke.
"Huh?hey,I didn't get to finish mr detective!"monokuma groaned.
"I'd...like to ask you a question,"shuichi stated.
"What?"the bear said aggressively.
"Why haven't you told us about the past ultimates?"he asked.
"Past ultimates?"he mumbled,"you mean the people that were ultimates before you brats?"
"I'd like to know about one in particular,Mikan tsumiki?"shuichi wondered.
Monokuma froze.it was like his circuit boards had stopped working.
"Um...monokuma?"
"How do you know about her!"he exclaimed.
Shuichi tried to answer,but the bear did to want to listen.it was just shouting very loudly.this went on for a while,until it finally answered the question after ages of convincing.
"Mikan tsumiki was the ultimate nurse,who was executed after killing two people in a killing game she was trapped in,"Monokuma explained,"she caught what I call the 'despair disease' which made her think junko enoshima loved her,her parents also used her little brother as her motive.he was held captive and tortured in extremely despair-inducing ways.why do you ask?"
"Yeah...that's what I thought,"shuichi replied.
Monokuma then explained the new motive and moved on,quite suspicious of shuichi.the bear was curious on where he would find out about Mikan.no trace of any information of the past ultimates had been left in the school.the students and the bear left the gym,Monokuma still wondered how shuichi knew such information.
